It was an amazing experience to stay on the house of Fatmir, Fjona and the little Dardan. I was travelling some time for beautiful places in Albania but I was missing to be in authentic place not touristic and Zhulat was by far the best place I stayed. Suddenly I was part of the family, they prepared a great meal with most of the ingredients coming from their garden. The room was very comfortable and clean. The surroundings were so special, in the middle of beautiful mountains with a river very close by.

Such a nice place, with beautiful views from the mountain. The sky at night was also amazing. Elton and his father were so kind and prestatives. Always aware if we were confortable and providing something if needed. One of the highlights of the trip, for sure! We played football, did a barbacue, learned from local culture. And also there is a cinema in the camping. Definitely, I will come back on my next trip to Albania.

This spot is incredible. The rooms felt modern and had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was very friendly. We had lunch and breakfast here and very much enjoyed ourselves. We were even sad we didn't have our dinner there too. The location initially seemed far from the castle and old town but there is a shortcut. It is a steep 8mins walk to get to the castle but doable.

Maradona was an excellent host. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and give me advice. He picked me up and dropped me off at the old town, saving me a walk whenever I asked. Above and beyond service, thanks! He also helped me take the public bus and spoke to the bus driver so he could tell me where to get off for the bus station. Really helpful! Thanks!

Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums.

Well, this might be one of the best places I have stayed in recent years. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town. Breakfast was delicious and served at the Brunchotek on the first floor of the building. The facilities and the room were brand new and very stylish. Overall, a superb place that I would gladly visit again.
