Bushwalking for all levels of skill. If unsure which walk to do talk to the staff at the visitor's centre. Beautiful views of the stunning mountains everywhere you go. Quick drive to a few different towns for essentials or eating out.

If you're a lover of unique Australian landscapes, the Glass House Mountains is a must. I first discovered them a few years ago, on a road trip driving from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, and seeing these incredible monoliths jutting out of the forest inspired me. I had to take a detour and drive around them, and went so far as to stop and walk around Mt Tibrogargan. It was so magical I booked a four night stay in the area this year. I loved it. Do yourself a favour and visit them.

Lots of lookouts and drives around the local area.

Lots of lookouts and drives around the local area. About 40 minutes to the beach at Caloundra if you want some sea air and surf. Australia Zoo is just up the road as well as other local tourist attractions. Glasshouse Mountains Tavern is a terrific spot for a meal. Menu was comprehensive, staff friendly and food very tasty.

This is a real Eco Lodge and encouraged guests to be aware how to help save wastage and be environmentally aware. Sally who handled the bookings and provided the breakfasts, was a fantastic asset. Would highly recommend anyone wishing a peaceful and tranquil environment to stay. Great value.
