The layout of the junior suite is spacious. There was a kitchen fully fitted with appliances and staff for cooking you dinner even the dishwasher was there. We weren’t looking for that but was good to have it. The place was so warm and it had a nice atmosphere. Big balcony overlooking to the old city and strategic location for the tourists. Nearby a lot of shops and easy acces to the main streets. It was a pleasure for us to stay there. The staff was really nice and polite.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Our room was lovely – clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Loved staying at this very unique place. Vincent has truly been able to create a one of a kind hotel situated in an art deco home with each room being very different from one another and full of art pieces. Breakfast was also amazing, for a small fee you get to have a meal in a beautiful room with a view on the lake. Would highly recommend!

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are the city’s two official languages, so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up at Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze, aptly named Manneken Pis statue or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussels's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your trip to Brussels.

Brussels has major roadworks outside railway station that have dragged on and don’t give a good vibe when you arrive, but city centre is fine, be aware of your possessions and there are a few beggars about. Everyone uses English as a second language and menus are generally in 3/4 main languages. Many restaurant toilets are either upstairs or downstairs and can be quite steep. Good footwear is essential, cobbles are part of the history but do batter your feet. Great selection of bars and restaurants. Can be quite a queue at some of the key photo points, but we found early morning or later in day give you the pictures you want

Nice city with a mixture of tourists, business people and students living in. A lot of large buildings of various corporations and EU but also cobblestone roads and older houses from the past century or even older. A multitude of restaurants and small shops to try waffles, fries or buy chocolates. Better yet try a local restaurant and try also the famous Belgian beers. People and shops around Grand Place stay open until late so you can find people at 1am. having a beer outside.

Brussels is amazing, two days and two nights enough.

Brussels is amazing, two days and two nights enough. Don’t forget to eat waffles from smaller establishments and enjoy hot chocolate there as well. Chocolates nothing fancy and taste same as what you’d get from any other European countries.

It was fun, a bit grittier than I expected. It still had plenty of character, decent restaurants, more expensive than I expected. But going there was just a jumping off point for other towns in Belgium.

Brussels is a vibrant city rich in history, culture, and architecture. From the stunning Grand Place to the charming streets lined with cafés and chocolate shops, it offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern energy. For those staying in Brussels, it’s also worth exploring nearby cities like Bruges, which is not far and offers a beautiful, peaceful experience with its canals, medieval buildings, and relaxed atmosphere.

Brussels is a beautiful city with excellent food, friendly tour guides and much to see. I only had 1.5 days for sightseeing and I enjoyed eating the St. Catherine area. I recommend a walking tour the first day to get the lay of the land. Then I recommend a bus tour to Bruges and Ghent as well. I wish I had time to visit the many museums.

I knew the hotel from before when it was still an NH and I really liked how Citybox transformed it. The room was modern, clean and spacious. I slept really great too. The checkin via the terminal was really easy and quick. Of course the location of the hotel is also great, walking to the city center can be done in like 10-15 minutes and the tram and metro stops are close by too. And of course when coming to Brussels for Fosdem, the ULB is easily reachable too.

Great location centrally located and close to Central Station, Grand place and all of the tourist sites including the Montes Des Artes. This hotel had the best service we had in Brussels, both at Chutneys and the Rooftop at. We Loved the rooftop “Secret Bar”, and have to give a special mention to Ashraf for going above and beyond to give us good service. Rooms have been refurbished but still are a little dated / tired.

Nice hotel close to the north station of Brussels, but also close to other places. It was easy to get to the city center. Breakfeast was good: partially western and partially Japanese, but you could pick what you wanted.
