I booked a weekend ski trip for my husband’s birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond by making my husband a personalized birthday cake. The way they arranged everything was both personal and professional, showing genuine care for their guests. They also helped us book a restaurant in town, going the extra mile to communicate with the restaurant to secure a table for us, even when they were previously fully booked Restaurant: Clean, modern, and absolutely delicious—a perfect place to refuel after a day on the slopes. Final Verdict: This hotel delivers an amazing experience in every aspect. From the unbeatable location to the top-notch service, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a hassle-free ski getaway. We really enjoyed our stay at the Eden Hotel. The rooms were very spacious, a lovely big balcony and a modern and very clean bathroom. It was easy to park. We stayed as a family to go skiing and it was only a 10 minute drive up to Laax. Otherwise, the bus up to Laax leaves from right outside the hotel. The sauna, after a day on the slopes, was very welcome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket right across the road. Ilanz is a pretty town. We were very happy with our choice of this hotel.

Breakfast -- there was a free breakfast every morning and it was an excellent & very well-balanced breakfast with options for eggs, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit salad, pastries, cheese, cereal, and dried meats. Location -- it was a very short walk from Vals city center on the side of town closer to the 7132 Therme Hot Spring, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Parking -- the parking lot was right in front of the building & thus very easy to find.
