The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

We loved the place, just 2 minutes walk from lake where you can enjoy beauty of vitznau and also swim. Jeroen is best host, they have arranged everything you can need during your stay. Spacious duplex with comfortable beds and a balcony where you can enjoy barbecue. There is also private parking. Will come back for sure.

It is an amazing hotel with an unforgettable vibe. Everything around is so beautiful: mountains, lawns, the lake, even buildings look great. The spa is spacious, well equipped, with different rooms and pools, including outside pool with a hot water. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars on the side with delicious dishes and drinks. We had a hike every day and the trails were spectacular.

I’m used to traveling the world and staying in 5-star hotels, but I have to say — the level of service here was on a whole different level. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. Everything was flawless, and the attention to detail was simply mind-blowing. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a Corner Suite with a stunning lake view for our honeymoon, which was such a lovely surprise! If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

Although old looking was fantastic. Everyone of the staff were exceptional from front of house to restaurant staff . Hotel should be really proud . The budget room was superb and overlooked the lake . Restaurant food was exceptional. Only stayed one night as passing through but would definitely go back and stay longer .
