Interior, facilities - amazing. The vibe they have created was very nice! Big room, big and nice bathroom. Sadly there was no availability for all my days in Chilean Patagonia so stayed here only for one night. Location - perfect if you are not staying in TdP NP inside. Don't need to go to Puerto Natales for overnight. Staff at the reception - very hospitable and kind. I have read in other comments people complaining about the price for the dinner at hotel. But people, you need to be honest - either you go into Puerto Natales and find cheaper options for dinner, or you stay close to TdP and do not waste your time for driving and can have qualitative rest instead. I don't think 30USD is a lot taking all this into account. You get soup, main course and small desert. And BTW, food was very delicious.

It feels like you're staying in somebody's very welcoming home. The staff are warm, caring, and extremely helpful. The breakfast is good, and the dinner (not included in the price for the room, but reasonably priced) is excellent. We really appreciated them cooking for us after the 9.00 pm cut-off time. The location is about 45 minutes closer than Puerto Natales to the main viewpoints in Torres del Paine (including the mirador for base torres). It may not sound like a huge amount, but that hour and a half will feel like an eternity considering how physically taxing the hikes are. It also feels like you're part of a community there. Puerto Natales is more of a tourist town (a bit like El Calafate).

Cerro Castillo is a good compromise to stay to visit the park (It's around 45 minutes drive to the Torres Del Paine NP). From Puerto Natales it's 1,5 hours drive and within the park there are only very expensive or very basic (and still expensive) options for staying. You need a car (also in the NP) because of the distances and very limited shuttlebus options.
