This is an exceptional gem; clean, cosy, quiet and equipped with all necessary amenities. 12 points in the Eurovision scale. Great hospitality and detailed explanations from the host, including the tourist card for a couple of euros that gives you free ride on all means of local transport. Next to a small stream and nice walking ways. One bus stop just at the doorway, railway stop ~7 minutes walk and another bus stop ~10 minutes.

I had an incredible stay! Everything about this hotel feels calm, clean, and surrounded by nature. The location is perfect — peaceful, green, and just a short drive from Bastei National Park. You wake up to pure silence and fresh air, it’s the ideal place to relax and recharge. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated in a cozy, natural style that makes you feel instantly at home. Every detail is well thought out, and the overall cleanliness is outstanding. You can tell that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard. The restaurant was another highlight — every meal was simply delicious, with great ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help. If you’re looking for comfort, great food, and a peaceful stay close to nature, this is the perfect place. I’d definitely come back again!

Everything from staff to the size of the room, location, wide selection of breakfast choices and local specialities, etc was perfect. Didn't expect that everything will be at such a high quality. Loved the view from the room and the little balcony, stunning location and the building itself full of history and charm. Although pool was a bit cold for the time of the year, the facilities were great and my partner still managed to enjoy a refreshing swim in the morning. Cosy spa too. Had a dinner booked at the restaurant one night and the service and meal was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful place in Bad Schandau - I wish to be a guest in the future.

A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. We spent a few days in Saxony with a group of friends, staying at the Hotel Brückenschänke in Sebnitz. Thanks to Barbara and Andreas, the owners of the hotel, we felt like family. Beautiful hotel and well located for exploring the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who let us store our bikes in their bike shelter in-between rides. Clean, spacious room and a comfortable bed. Decent breakfast - enough to fuel a 90km cycle ride! Would highly recommend!
