We also did a local trekking with a local woman who told us about their culture and traditions. There is also a local market where you can buy some handmade stuff and a museum that describes their history up to the present.

Excellent attention! We had a medical situation with the altitude and the hotel stuff immediately called an ambulance that helped us a lot as part of their included services. Food, cleanliness, and friendliness was top and we will definitely be coming back if we have the chance.

Clean room, the beds are really comfy, and the staff was always available and helpful. Hot shower (like piping hot) You are about 20min walk from the maldonado park, right in front of market stalls during the week end. There are pharmacy next to the hotel and a supermarket around the corner. A lot of taxi passes in front of the hotel as well (note: if you are coming by bus from tena/baño, there will be a stop at about 7min walk from the hotel)
