Spain’s Oldest Jewel
Cádiz might be a small strip of land, but being the oldest inhabited city in Spain, it means that it’s covered with monuments from different ages and cultures. BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC CITY, BUT ALSO MODERN ON THE ONE SIDE WITHOUT ENCROACHING ON THE TRADITIONAL PARTS. Beautiful olde world with cobbled streets and lovely square with restaurants to sit and watch the world go by! A visit to the market is a must, with tables & chairs around the outside to try traditional tapas etc. Hop on bus was great, giving you an insight into where to wander. Bring your map app .. SO easy to get lost but in a fun way! These very old streets are narrow, few cars allowed in - stores and restaurants spill out into the walkways.
