The village was fantastic and quaint. The perfect point for all adventures on Harris. Breakfast on the go was prepared for us on day one because of the trip to St Kilda, but day two made to order breakfast was wonderful . The hotel staff were the most friendly and helpful people I have ever meet. Thank you for making our stay great!!

Roddy and Carolanne were incredible hosts! They were both so professional and had one of the nicest homes I've stayed in. Roddy even offered to cook for us if we couldn't find dinner on a late night. We managed to find something else but his lack of hesitation to help us out in a pinch was so kind. I wish them all the best and wish we could have stayed longer.

The place was absolutely heartwarming and exceeded all my expectations. I wasn’t expecting much when booking just an overnight stay, but we got a lovely, cozy cottage with a sea view. A terrific location, very peaceful with its garden overlooking the beach and the sea. Very scenic surroundings. Secluded from the main road, down a track.
