The host was really helpful and easily available. The property was really nicely decorated with great facilities. The location was great - short walk to places to eat or have a drink. Our son said his bed was really comfy and ours was too!!! Very good value for money and we hope to return!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Throughout my stay, I encountered no issues or inconveniences, thanks to the exceptional service and efficiency of the staff. They were readily available to answer any questions. One of the standout features of this hotel was its charming eating area – warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and pleasant ambiance created the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious meal. The staff in the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional service, making each dining experience a true delight. The culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurant were simply exquisite. The menu featured a wide array of delectable dishes, expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.     Three (very different) hotel/pubs in the village - all...

    Three (very different) hotel/pubs in the village - all offering food. Excellent shop - Eagles Fine Foods almost opposite the Unicorn Inn with delicatessen and fresh food. For "Garden" visitors: Rousham is a few miles away; Batsford Arboretum a 40 minute drive away. Parking in Deddington is not restricted and free. Co-Op and Post Office opposite the Unicorn Inn.

    The bed was comfortable. The pub attached is characterful and (obviously) sells alcohol which is (obviously) a plus. Friendly staff upon check-in and throughout the evening in the pub. Breakfast was a good bonus, and was of a good quality, although I didn't realise it was included, so had already purchased and brought my own breakfast with me which turned out to be a waste of money. The hotel is in Duns Tew, which is ideal if you need to be in Duns Tew, as I did.

    This was a perfect location for a break in the Cotswolds. The space is very well equipped and comfortable, the hosts were so helpful (even lending us a clothes steamer as we were going to a formal event on the last morning!), and Deddington has lovely pubs and sights to enjoy. Highly recommend.
