This was very pretty and cute accommodation which is very tastefully decorated. Very comfortable and clean with great facilities. The host Leon was very helpful and pleasant. Holt is a very picturesque and quaint town with very friendly people lovely shops and very good good. Would highly recommend.

The room was lovely,& had great facilities.There was breakfast pasties,bread & butter for toast,tea & coffee, cereal & fresh fruit,plus orange juice & sparkling water,which was all lovely. The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer,a dishwasher & a cooker,so all you'd need for a few days stay. The bathroom had a nice shower with shampoo supplied,& the bedroom was light & airy,with a a sofa & a couple of extra seats & a fold out little table,& the TV had fire stick,with lots of choices of streaming sites. Jerry,our host,was fantastic,so friendly & welcoming,& parked here car on the roadside,so we could park in the driveway. Holt town centre is only a few minutes walk away,so the Firefly is in a very convenient location. There's even garden furniture in the garden,but was a little chilly for us to sit outside! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Holt is the best town to stay in when on holiday in north Norfolk It has everything a town should have shops restaurants takeaways tearooms a supermarket bakeries It’s small easy to walk around It is touristy but that means it has some nice luxury shops If you like Chinese food the takeaway was the best I’ve ever eaten

Excellent range of independent shops and eateries. Well placed for visits to all local attractions both inland and on the coast. A go-to shop is definitely Bakers and Larners who sell anything from a range cooker to a packet of seeds. We sampled delicious eggs benedict and coffee in the cafe. There are many boutiques to suit all pockets, a bookshop and bakers. Although we didn’t visit, the two pubs had good menus posted outside.

Lovely country market town with high quality shops and easy to walk around. Not too many restaurants in town but plenty in the surrounding countryside. Easy and quick access to the North Norfolk coast by car.

Holt is a well-situated base for exploring the coast, with easy access to Cromer, Sheringham, Wells, and Blakeney—perfect for those looking to make the most of their stay. This charming town has everything you need for a comfortable visit if you prefer to stay local. For evening dining, the best options can be found in nearby pubs, as choices within the town itself are somewhat limited. Lots of lovely cafes and tea rooms and some nice independents and antique shops.

Communication with host excellent and fast. Full explanation of parking and check in. The place was easy to find and was so clean, modern and just thought through by whoever decorated it and had everything we needed. An absolute gem !

Lorraine’s attention to detail was exceptional! The standard of the breakfast served was better than some hotels offer! Five star’s Lorraine! The property was spotlessly clean and as only two rooms are let at the property, the standard maintained is way above the average BB. The property is close to Holt, Cromer and Sheringham, so it’s in a convenient location. Its a great place to stay!

A magical stay in a Norfolk windmill - an unforgettable experience! The Stone Room was stunning, with epic sunset views from the balcony. Breakfast was fantastic - I had smoked salmon, my partner had the English breakfast, and both were perfectly done. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole place felt truly special. Highly recommend!
