The hosts were excellent, they provided full details prior to arrival, I just didn't read them! Even so, they were excellent and supportive in getting into the property. The property is fantastic, even better than the photos suggest, they have thought of everything a traveller needs. The bedrooms, kitchen and living areas are fully equipped and comfortable. Showers are excellent. Great views out on to the golf course and surrounding area.

After a long drive, to be welcomed by the manager saying "we will take care of your bags and you enjoy a complimentary drink in the sun" was fabulous. Top service, a very nice dinner also. 2nd stay here. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely old character building in a fantastic location, minutes walk from all the cafes, shopping, restaurants & pubs that are on offer in Clifton Village & very easy walk to The Clifton Suspension Bridge. All the staff that we have met are helpful, friendly & efficient. A variety of rooms to choose from & a good breakfast if you need it. Parking is also a huge bonus. We will be staying again this week, our 3rd visit in the last couple of months & will always be our first choice on our next visit to Bristol.

Coalshed was such a positive surprise. It is a gem. The place and room are well decorated with a lot of taste. The kitchen is well furnished and the common place is comfy with a lot of games. The room was great. It was really clean with so many thoughtful details. Coalshed is next to a nice skateboard place and park. There are several direct buses to the harbour, city center. The staff was always available and fast to reply in the booking chat. For people with reduced mobility, the place is really accessible. All on the ground floor and a ramp to enter in the hotel. Totally recommended that place !

it is very close and convenient to Bristol airport, did not realize it was a self-check-in Motel . But, all went well. room was very clean and tidy. Restaurant opened at 9am offering a wide choice of meals, plus the additional views of the golf course. Very friendly staff making you feel very welcomed.

It's very convenient for the airport, staff were great, the room let it down, as it hadn't been cleaned properly, Kettle wasn't working & no lighting outside, so couldn't go & inform staff of these problems... we slept & left.

The rooms were very small. No room for even a bedside light. No connection to the internet in our room. Bathroom door wouldn't close. No evidence of sound proofing and the bread was broken and VERY uncomfortable. Doubt if the stairway meets fire regulations. Poor value for money even at the prices they charge. Only positive - it was possible to walk to Bristol airport.

The pick up at 3am from the airport was prompt and very welcome. But, we recieved no help with our cases and given very little info by the staff member about the room. The room was accessed by going up a steep narrow staircase which was tricky with heavy cases. The toilet was dirty and my son found a bottle cap in his bed! In the morning we found out the staff don't work until the afternoon. Breakfast was a box of cereal and milk. No other option. Proximity to airport was perfect though.

We didn't enjoy our stay with you unfortunately. We stopped in lodge number 1 when we arrived and entered the lodge it was a mess, the carpets weren't hoovered, there were spiders and cobwebs in the rooms but there were 4 in one room (en suit bedroom) dust everywhere, cob webs on the vents and the lodge stank. Also in the room with the en suite the main light did not work the lamps had no bulbs in we had no hot water and the bath rooms there was hair dye on the floor in one and no toilet paper in the other and also mould in the shower. Alot of the furniture was either broken or ripped and covered in stains, we were also given no information by the check in staff we were given more information when we checked out then when we arrived. For what we paid we are pretty disappointed

I chose it because of it being near to the airport.

I chose it because of it being near to the airport. Room cramped and lacking in some facilities. Television not in best place for easy viewing when in bed, or sitting in a chair - there wasn't a chair to sit in. Expensive fir what was offered.

The beds are comfortable I hardly sleep well in hotels due to cheap mattresses. All of us slept well. Great communication with the workers had 1 loud young couple 1 night & had a choice to move rooms

Hotel is ideally placed close to the airport. Triple room wasn't massive but all we needed as arrived late and left early. Breakfast we good as were the tea/coffee making facilities. Cracking price!
