Excellent communications with the owner, Jack prior to arrival. Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our superb host, Holly. Lovely setting, the hotel is stunning, with a very comfortable lounge and a very impressive bar lounge with an incredible vast and extensive whisky collection! We had pizza for dinner and it was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Holly and she made our stay very comfortable, enjoyable and positively memorable. Our bedroom was very cosy and comfortable, there was want for nothing! - All the small finer touches and additions were there. A good selection of continental and a range of cooked breakfast options were available, all prepared to a tastefully high standard. We usually stay in chain hotels, such as Hilton. This was a refreshing change and it reminded me of what an independent high quality accommodation establishment should be like! My family and l will certainly be back! I have no hesitation in recommending Dunfallandy House Hotel for your next stay in Pitlochry. 5 star and 10 out of 10!

I chose this hotel for its excellent location for starting our Enchanted Forest activity & the hotels involvement with the organisers. The whole party stayed here & everyone loved their rooms. The serving staff at breakfast managed to seat our whole group together where we enjoyed a great selection of food & beverages.

Plenty of coffeee shops and some quaint little independent shops. Could do with a couple of 'specialist' restaurants although nearly all hotels do evening meals. Prices are increasing in lots of places nowadays which makes it necessary to curb spending on items bought on a whim.

A pleasant little town. Plenty of good walks in the area. Could visit without a car and find it very pleasant. The dam and visitor centre are worth seeing. The Festival Theatre is excellent and the “Enchanted Forest” light and music experience in October and early November is not to be missed.

Pitlochry is a beautiful Highland Perthshire town surrounded by lovely countryside and hills. It's an excellent centre for walking and cycling, while its Festival Theatre has a programme of performances throughout the year. It's a place my family and I have visited many times over the years. We were there at the time of the annual Enchanted Forest event (though didn't attend) - and impressive light and sound show in the middle of a forest, which is particularly great for children.

A beautiful accessible little town.

A beautiful accessible little town. Fabulous independant shops and restaurants. Pitlochry is gorgeous all year round but particularly in the Autumn. Locals are very welcoming. A wee visit to the gorgeous St Brides RC chapel is recommended. And the Seafood Linguine in the Auld Smiddy is to die for. Thanks to everyone who made our stay special 🧡

Pitlochry is a beautiful town, but now so many visitors you cannot get in any restaurants unless booked in advance and walking on the street is hazardous for anyone with mobility issues as you have to keep trying to avoid people not looking where they are going.

We stayed in the family room during August. It’s a simple hotel, with basic facilities which are quite dated. I suppose this why it’s competitively priced. The hotel is a 10 min uphill walk away from Pitlochry’s high street which is very convenient. It also has off road parking. Communication with the hotel staff was good and check in simple and fast. The breakfast area was nice (it’s a high rated indian restaurant at dinner time) and the Scottish breakfast we had was good.

You want to stay in Pitlochry? Stay here! Many Hotels /B&Bs in Pitlochry this is the one to aim at. This place seems to be the mainstay of the town. Lovely rooms, excellent restaurant and bar, separate fish and chip restaurant and ice cream window. Pitlochry is a pretty town (very many tourist shops!) and a perfect stop if heading from Edinburgh/ Glasgow to the top of Scotland. Thank you for another great stay (in your rooms across the road this time. Xx

Very clean and comfortable. Attention to detail .Location and views were great. Karen is the entertainment but also a stickler for hygiene ad good practice. We had family staying in Pitlochry Hydro but they preferred visiting our hotel (mostly to see Karen ). On our next trip to Pitlochry we will definitely be booking again. Breakfast was lovely and very well presented.
