Beautiful, characterful village. If you’re looking for somewhere picturesque to relax with lots of quality food and drink I couldn’t recommend Stow on the Wold any stronger. You get a vibrant Cotswold town - what more do you want?
You get a vibrant Cotswold town - what more do you want? Traffic in summer can be painfully slow. Do not rely on taxis as they are non-existent and so hard to get. For a night out I recommend a nominated driver in your party if you wish to go out of town.Guest review byalistairUnited Kingdom - 10

Walking distance to all the pubs, restaurants and shops in the gorgeous Cotswold village of Stow on the Wold. The house is delightful with cosy sitting room/large screen TV, 4 very comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and the icing on the cake - a spacious hot tub which was very much enjoyed by all. All staff were incredible and a credit to the family owners. Clearly, the staff enjoy working here. This was our second visit to the hotel, and we plan more visits in the future. There are many places to visit, all within a short drive. On this trip, we went to Burford, including the immense garden centre, Broadway, and the Slaughters.
