The room was newly renovated, very spacious and fragrant. Beautiful balcony with a view. We felt very comfortable here, the owner took care of us like family, she treated us well, played a musical instrument for us while we ate, she was very nice and we fell in love with her and her family even for such a short time. Probably the best guesthouse we have been in the whole 4days of trekking through the mountains. The host is very welcoming and they take you back and forth from the trail, cause the guesthouse is a bit far out the town. Rooms are warm and spacious, bathrooms are in best conditions and food is delicious. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse’s location is superb, next to the church and the start of the hiking trail to Shkhara glacier. The village’s panorama viewpoint is just 3 minutes walk away, and you can be there easily in the early morning before the tourists arrive. The rooms are clean with stupendous views and en suite bathroom. Mamuka’s mother is a whiz in the kitchen: we booked dinner and breakfast with her during our 2 night stay and every meal was delicious. Home-made jams, milk from the family cows, produce from their garden and so on. Mamuka was also very responsive and helpful with advice and booking of transfer vehicle, and we learnt a lot about life in the mountains.

Fast check in. We booked on the same day, and the hostess came quickly to let us in. Thanks <3 Comfortable room, the portable heater worked well. Loved the hot shower! We ordered dinner at the property (30 GEL per person). It was tasty, but we expected it to be larger. Maybe it was us, just more hungry than average after having hiked for several days... After check out, we were allowed to leave our bags downstairs, and pick them up just before taking the minibus to Mestia. Convenient location.

It was a very pleasant stay- Rooms were clean and neat, we could take a nice hot shower after a long trip. What’s more- host was very welcoming and prepared delicious food for us. We definitely felt taken care of. Obviously views were breathtaking and I can recommend staying in this płace!
