A marvellous vacation. We are an italian couple, we have celebrated our 30 years wedding anniversary at Asterion Suite and SPA. We have constantly been taken care by an excellent and sensitive personnel, especially, Dimitra and Christos at Reception, Roula (speedy gonzales), George, Chris and Antonis at swimming pool Bar, Manolis (superman) at Restaurant, Katerina at Breakfast Section and Michalis the lifeguard. Everything was great, rooms, swimming pool, food, some entertainment music - piano and violin - (performed on Tuesday and Wednesday). We highly recommend this Hotel 💙💙💙

Dimitris is truly a five-star host! We had the pleasure of staying in a marvelous place. The house was excellent—clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The location was perfect: a peaceful heaven just 10 minutes from the center of Platanias and its beautiful beaches. Communication with Dimitris was excellent from the very beginning. He responded promptly to our initial inquiries, provided clear and detailed instructions before our arrival, and stayed in contact throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. We highly recommend Elaida House to anyone seeking a relaxing and high-quality stay! Dimitris, thank you very much for this amazing experience. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family. Lovely, helpful, friendly hosts, who try their best for their customers. From this town we went to Pachnes, the room had not been reserved on the climbing days. The hosts offered to leave our bags when we returned, the room was cleaned and we stayed another night. We recommend it to everyone who wants to admire the incredibly beautiful view of the mountains and feel the peace of this town. It has no shops or attractions. But it has three pubs and a road through valleys and mountains towards Pachnes. The bar, which is located to the right of the town statue, is staffed by a very friendly bar owner, who also cooks delicious food. If you decide to enjoy nature and stay in these apartments, visit this Cretan bar

The Villa Blue Vedere is a fantastic place. We were a family of 5, and the house i spacious and comfortable and the outdoor area with the beautyful pool and the garden area around is just amazing. This is a very safe spot to book and I would highly recommend it. Going by car you will be downtown Platanias in 5 minutes. The host helped us out upon our arrival and met us at the nearby police station. Very easy to find with google maps, 35/40 minutes from the airport. Very nice balconys in the 2. nd floor one on each side of the house, in the morning we had breakfest just outside the kitchen on a balcony turning west, and in the evening you can sit on the most spacious one turning east and enjoy the view of Platanias, Agia Marina and have glimpse of Chania far out and the mountains. The bedrooms a spacious, bathroom as well, the living room is huge and the kitchen is just what you need, easy for two adults to cook and prepare food. There is also a very nice barbeque area. I had a 9 seater rental car and there was no problem to get through the street up to the house, and one can park in the street or at the house behind looked doors. Getting in touch with the host was very easy, always responding quickly and with high care. Easy to plan both arrival and departure. Thank you for our stay - we highly appreciate the hospitality :-)

The villa was a beautiful and tranquil retreat nestled in a small village surrounded by orange groves. The children had a fantastic time in the swimming pool, and the garden was filled with vibrant lemon trees. The flickering flames of the pizza oven created a cozy atmosphere as the evening grew darker. We also enjoyed leisurely walks around the nearby lake, which offered excellent walking trails. Additionally, the view from the slopes of the neighboring fruit orchard overlooking the valley was absolutely stunning. Overall, our stay at the villa was a delightful experience, combining natural beauty, a serene atmosphere, and enjoyable amenities.
