I was a bit worried then I read other comments regarding the food and drinks, but it exceeded my expectations. It's not Turkey's AI food as many probably would expect, but plenty to choose from and for breakfast, and for lunch, and for dinner. During the day you can drink locally produced wine and beer, soft drinks - unlimited amount. I was travelling with my kids - no complains from them that no food to eat. What my kids liked most - ice cream for lunch and dinner- unlimited amount. Regarding the rooms- all nice, renovated, rooms cleaned every day. Good (free) air-conditioning. Fast reaction from the staff to any request. Additionally help to organize transfer to the airport. Small pool for kids - just with no shade (would be nice to have it) and no slide as in the photo, but kids loved it, bigger pool for adults. Beach - very nice clean water. Enough sunbeds for all travelers. Every second night there's a show for the guests. There's a children's playground with climbing frames for the kids - good to play for kids in the evenings. Since hotel isn't too big, everything is very convenient, quiet and relaxing. I'm already planning to send my mom with kids there in the autumn.

The location is excellent! It is calm and the city of Lindos is close by. The appartment is clean, it is complete and the interior is very well finished. The hosts are amazing! They provided all the needed information and they gave us pieces of fruit accompanied with cookies.

Private swimming pool and the jacuzzi, the garden area and the location. In response to some comments by previous guests, Yes, it does appear to be overlooked but it is by the family that owns the property and they go out of their way to not come out on their balcony, we saw them once in 3 weeks! With regard to the shower being small, there is plenty of room in there to have a shower! The family are always on hand to sort out any problems - very quickly.

Location is very good, only few meters from the beach and good restaurants, we had privacy for our relaxing stay. Comfortable apartment with aircondition in every room, two bathrooms, easy access by car and parking. What else we can expect? Nothing. But the hosts Tota and Aris are extraordinary people with big heart. We felt like we were visiting good friends. I´ve never experienced that before. I want to thank Tota and Artis for their hospitality, gifts, traditional tasty food and all nice words and smiles you had for our family. Very impressive and unforgetable.

Excellent choice! Wonderful and spotless place, with an interior door that offered comfort and flexibility. The apartment had everything we needed – fully equipped and well taken care of. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal: just a one-minute walk from the beach and right in the center of the area, with a mini market, bus stop, and shops all nearby. the Hotel, is close to be perfect. The Hotel is small and cosy, and the stuff is super helpfull. Lardos is a quaint little village away from the pressing mass tourism of Lindos. You do, however, need to rent a car to get there and get around, especially if you are traveling as a family. If you are in Lardos, you have to dine at Hellas restaurant for outstanding service and food!

lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town...

lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town with some good restaurants and bars. Its a good place to go and relax and close enought to visit Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. Its a great base with good transport links and a great Beach for swimming and snorkelling.

The hotel was good generally with a nice swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was all inclusive and very plentiful and generally well cooked. The hotel was spoiled by being on the main road through the town and so a fair number of vehicles going up and down with poor pedestrian facilities. Deciding to fix the water problems in the town as the holiday season began was a mistake and spoiled the town and the facilities in the hotel for a whole day. The trip to the Tsambika monastry was a holiday highlight but beware there are lots of steps to it and a long trek up a steep road before that. The Folklore museum in Lardos also a holiday highlight.

Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak...

Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak season ( starts around 9:30pm). This involves some Greek dancing and music in the pretty square. Be sure to book a restaurant table early if you intend to go. We particularly liked ‘Valentina’s’ - great restaurant and lovely owner. Lardos Bay hotel is a little out of town so taxis / hire car are essential if you plan to explore. Do yourself a favour and skip the bog all inclusive hotels and stay in the villages to experience the real Greek people and food - you will be hooked!

There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed there is because it is near Lindos, which you really just need 1 day to be there, and the weather on this side of the island is better, less windy, the sea is calm and more sunny.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper.

Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper. Within 10 minutes driving you can visit Glystra Beach (sandy beach perfect for children), Plakia beach (not sandy but the colors of the sea are wonderful) and Pefkos beach (sandy beach). 20 minutes driving and you are at Agathi beach and it is very beautiful. For dining I recommend: Valantina’s restaurant (everything was delicious!) , Roulas (best moussaka tasted!) and Savvas (more rustic but the souvlakis are really good). I tried also the bakery at the corner of the main square and the orange cake was delicious and also the ice cream! Eating in Lardos is very satisfying and much cheaper than Lindos.

This apartment was amazing. The location is great. It is pretty close to supermarkets and restaurants. The beach is close too. Antonis is a kind a and helpful person, probably one of the most kindest people I’ve ever met in Greece.The apartment is clean and has every equipment you need. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a accommodation with typical Greek atmosphere!

The hotel stuff was very friendly, the distance to the sea ideal- a short walk. The hotel building being spread a little bit creates cozy vibe for those who do not look for massive hotels. The hotel restaurant offers tasty local dishes. Access to sea is easy, water clean and warm, ideal for swimming and there are many water sport and daily transport options to Lindos.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The private pool is the best! Hotel staff is very friendly and they work very hard to make your stay as comfy and fun as possible! The location is good: the bus stop is right in front of the hotel (5 minutes to Pefkos and 15 minutes to Lindos) and the beach is a few minutes walk.

Amazing location - within walking distance of Lardos which had bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Pool was kept clean and the rooms were all really comfortable. It’s not often you stay somewhere and it’s actually better than the photos. Owners were really helpful with recommendations and help when needed.
