The apartment was fantastic and spotlessly clean. The hosts were impeccable, grateful, and hospitable. They helped us with everything we needed. The mini bar with soft drinks and snacks pleasantly surprised us. What made our stay unforgettable was the magnificent view of the sea and the island of Telendos. I spent a whole week at Kaloniki and it was simply amazing! ❤️ Kalotina and Nikita, the 2 hosts and owners, are such warm hearted people and they made me feel at home instantly. Every morning they served me a 5* breakfast and we had such a fun time joking around. They also shared a lot of their family and Kalymnos’ history and gave me great advice on where to go and what to do! And the view from their terrace and the rooms‘ balconies is simply spectacular with the sun setting in front of you every night!! Also, the house is located very centrally and all restaurants, the ferry to Telendos and activities are walkable, and at the same time it’s very quiet since there’s no road close by. The rooms are furnished in a modern way with high quality furniture and kitchen equipment. What a wonderful time! I will definitely come back ☺️

Excellent property with all you need to have a best leisure. Host is polite, supportive providing great hospitality and service. Villa is the best place to stay with family and friends. Great view and location.

Great view and location. Breakfast good and pool snack bar excellent. Their Caesars Salad was outstanding. Room bathroom had the door basically hung on the wrong side. Anyone overweight would struggle to get in. Hotel has no restaurant or bar. Nowhere to get a coffee when the pool bar closed at 6PM. No kettle in room either. Staff were great.

Small, friendly, has everything you need: lovely beach, wonderful views, great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, take a ferry to Telendos where you can go for a walk, watch a sunset and go for a great meal.

Great place to rock climb better later in the year to avoid the crowds. I was based in Masouri and teamed up with other Canadian climbers. Restaurants all good and reasonable prices. I prefer a cooked breakfast on climbing days so very good at the Ambience. Some of the newer climbing areas are less polished than the older areas but the rock can be very sharp. As people are concentrated in Masouri the social scene is preferable compared to Leonidio, and the climbing just as good in both locations. A car is needed in Leonidio but not so much in Kalymnos. Telendos has great climbing too as well as some spectacular multi-pitch routes.

Masouri is a magical place.

Masouri is a magical place. The main street is alive with numerous restaurants and shops, but the sea side is serene and breath-taking. The sunsets are magnificent. Very good place for rock climbers. many of the best views do involve climbing steep roads or steps, but the effort is worth it. The local bus service is excellent and is very reasonably priced

Restaurants, small grocery stores, and bars in Masouri and Myrties and easily walkable. In November, the tourist season comes to an end and some restaurants and stores shut down for the winter. However, there are still a few places still open for business. Most restaurants serve classic Greek food as well as seafood - the fresh fish is a go to. The small grocery markets supply simple but comprehensive supplies. Mostly a climber town in the spring and fall months, I saw mainly rock climbers and it was a chill vibe. If you plan to stay here for climbing or exploring, know that you need an international or EU drivers license in order to rent a car or scooter. There is plenty of climbing within walking distance, however, so that you could make do without transportation. The locals here are awesome and friendly and it's a fantastic place to spend a couple weeks if you are climbing or exploring the Greek islands.

Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands.

Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands. Short ferry trip between the two is 3 euros with stunning views. Masouri is the centre for sport rock climbers from around the world. The paths created to get to the crags give steep walks for others to enjoy the scenery or watch their climbing activities. Sunset over Telendos from Masouri is quite stunning.

Very nice location, having a small beach just in front of the hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind. Nice breakfast in a panoramic view of Masouri and Telendos. Rooms are spacy (at least the one with sea view we had). Massage is available also in the hotel for those they want to. Easy access to Masouri (walking distance), with plenty of choices of restaurants, bars and touristic shops.

Ambiance was in a great location with some stunning views! Easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops! The beach was also walking distance! Staff were great and helpful! The hotel isn’t a 5 star, and it is a little run down, but it has all the facilities we needed for our stay and I would definitely stay here again!
