We came to Kalymnos for rock climbing and a more authentic Greek experience. Panormos is a short drive from Masouri, the hub of climbing tourism, so it was the best of both worlds. Roosters wake you in the morning rather than the buzz of scooters that dominates Masouri. The house is small ( of course) and comfortable, in a lovely environment. Cool bakery nearby, easy access to all Kalymnos offers in a relaxed setting.

Our host arranged a taxi to and from the port and a hire car in the middle of our stay. Host’s son was there to welcome us and show us around - so kind brought us some bread within 10 minutes of our arrival! So helpful and kind! Soothing sounds of waves as we fell asleep which was so relaxing! Studio has good supply of facilities. Bed really big and comfy. Small bathroom with a good sized shower.

Our host was very cool, friendly and helpful. We loved the house, which was basically new and cleanliness was top notch. It's amazingly well furnished. The views from the terrace were great. And also the welcome food in fridge and fresh croissants was a very nice gesture.

We stayed in Platy Gialos apartment in Kalymnos with 7 people and had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious, with 3 floors and 3 bathrooms that made our stay really comfortable. The terrace is amazing, with a breathtaking sea view, perfect for spending time together. The kitchen was very convenient and well equipped with plenty of pots and utensils, and the fridge was really big, which we appreciated. We also liked having enough space to park our scooters safely inside the gate. Hope we will come back next year!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, most beautiful room that i have ever been. Really nice decor, good bed and pillows for good sleep, good air conditioner, good mini bar, just they have thought of everything. l had seaside room, most beautiful sea view all over Pothia. So i enjoyed every minute staying Spongia Apartment. Staff and owners, couldn’t be more helpful. When i checked out, they drive me back to city because i had my suitcase. "I highly recommend Hotel Korin, a perfect boutique hotel with breathtaking views! The location is excellent – close to restaurants, shops, and the amazing beach, just a short walk away. Panormos is much quieter than Myrties and it has a big supermarket and a fuel station. But you need some sort of wheels to get to places as buses aren’t as frequent. We had a scooter and that worked for us well. As climbers we travelled everyday to different walls. Panormos offered the cheapest accommodation with facilities.

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos...

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos island because of its location (close to the port, Kalymnos capital, museums, sightseeing and to beaches and restaurants on the other hand). The problem with all of the island is that there are nowhere sidewalks and streets are so narrow that if two cars meet one of them should back off , because there is not enough space for both of them (!!!!) and pedestrians are in a real danger .

I was on a climbing holiday and it was much more peaceful than Masouri, if that is what you like. Meeting friends in Masouri in the evening was awkward because of travel and drink driving. However, I did drink less as a result and probably felt better.

Fantastic location within Kantouni with fabulous sea views and sunset from the large terrace. Evi was a wonderful host of this friendly family owned apartment. A quiet location, but within a very easy stroll to the restaurants and wonderful unspoilt beach of Kantouni. Supermarkets and bus stops close by. We would definitely stay again.

I’d like to thank Anastasis and his wonderful family for the amazing days on Kalymnos. Everything was perfectly clean and well organized, and any issue was solved immediately. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a few steps from a lovely beach. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to come back one day.
