We had a pleasant stay in these traditional apartments in Rodia. If you have a car and are independent in transportation, it is an ideal place to stay. Incredible view, an incredible courtyard on the roof that you can see from above the whole bay of Heraklion. The decoration is very beautiful.If you are looking for peace, it is an ideal place to relax. See life up close in one of the most beautiful villages of Heraklion, Rodia, which is rightfully called the balcony of Heraklion. The sea is very close for swimming or fishing. Close to mini markets and cafes and next to the best traditional taverns in the area. There you can enjoy traditional flavors of Crete. The owners, two very kind people, are always by your side to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We ll come back again for sure .

The stay was amazing, the house was very clean and full equipped with every thing we can need (kitchen included).Nice view on the sea accessible from the house. It’s truly heavenly, had the best time. The setting is incredible, uninterrupted views, perfect weather and a lovely mix of private terraces and intimate communal areas. The rooms are architecturaly designed, with quality fixtures and fittings. It’s also a very sensory from the french linens, Belgium pool furniture, Olive scented skincare and the stone flooring on your feet is very grounding. Hosts Olivier + Giannis, go up and beyond to provide personalised service. Olivier was often seen engaging with guests while Giannis is cooking up incredible cuisine from local farms. Everyday the menus changes, but the food is always incredible. They grow their own olives, press their own oil, serve honey from a local family farm, make their own preserves. This is by far the most amazing place we ever stayed at. We LOVED everything. The welcoming, kind, sweet staff. The resort itself which is out of this world. The beautiful scenery - sea on one side and mountains on the other. We liked the wellness atmosphere it encourages, the great restaurant, the Yoga hall, the location.. and of course the amazing room. Not enough can be said about this hotel.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed. We had a huge room with huge balcony and amazing sea and mountains view. The beach was right there, with comfy sun beds, the breakfast, the restaurant and bar services were exceptional. The staff was super nice and helpful with anything we asked. I just want to be back every summer!

We had a great time at this hotel! Ever since we arrived we felt very welcomed by all of the staff members. Throught our stay they were really helpful and always professional. The food was really good as well, very nice cooking and lots to choose from. The pools were very clean and the lounging area was very peaceful and quiet. Only in the weekends it got a bit chaotic because of the people coming from the outside. We booked a private suite with a pool and we loved every detail of our room. It was cleaned daily. My boyfriend had a great time at the gym, it had all the neccessities. We recommend this hotel for a great and peaceful vacation!

    A lovely quiet village up in the hills.

    A lovely quiet village up in the hills. Beautiful views and an abundance of pomegranate trees, cactus, butterflies, praying mantis and cats! Restaurants, shop, garage, and coffee shop in the village or close by. A car is needed if you want to visit beaches and populated areas. Beaches close by are lovely but busy at times. Supermarkets are 10-15mins away.
