I only have great things to say. The food they cook is amazing, all the staff is incredibly nice and everything is very clean. They showed a lot of attention to detail and helped us with the transportation and tours. I would recommend this to anyone

once we arrived we had no idea. Then June came to us and she was so nice. She told all about Tangkoko and she kept talking to us until it was so late. Such a nice homestay with everything included. Everything was so cheap. The airconditiong was soooooo wauw. June gave us many recommonondations about the place and they were all wonderfull. such a lovely stay and the people are so nice, really welcoming. I would say this is the best place to stay in tangkoko. We really love June and I hope one day we can see her again. It is really price worthy and the room is soooo good! Good matras, good bed, good airconditiong, good restaurant, good bathroom, … We really loved the place and thus we booked an extra night because it was too lovely. It was hard to say goobye. Please if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Tangkoko, this one is the one you are looking for! June is such a nice host and she is so interesting! We love you June!!!!!!

Staying at Tangkoko Macaca was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just minutes from the entrance of Tangkoko National Park – and we even had black macaques wandering into the garden a few times, which was magical to witness. The accommodation was comfortable and peaceful, providing a great base for exploring the park and relaxing between tours. A special highlight of our stay was our guide, Patrick. He was incredible – deeply passionate about nature, knowledgeable, and respectful of the environment and local culture. He didn’t just help us spot wildlife – he also gave us valuable insight into the local perspective and conservation efforts, which made the experience truly meaningful. Thanks to Patrick and the rich biodiversity of the park, we saw tarsiers, a blue tarantula, black macaques, and a hornbill – it was like stepping into a real-life nature documentary. If you're looking for a comfortable place close to nature, with a guide who genuinely cares, Tangkoko Macaca is the perfect choice. I left feeling inspired and grateful.

We had a great stay. The family is really friendly and they cook the best meals. The property is quiet, good maintained and has a lot of nature surrounding it. We definitely recommend doing a day and night jungle trip with Patric

Highly recommended place to stay. It is actually called Tangkoko guesthouse. The tangkoko safety shop is a place on the beach which serves delicious lunches and dinners and their guides for the jungle trip are the best: Renny and Lea. Tangkoko guesthouse works closely together with Renny 's safety shop. Pacha, the owner, of tangkoko guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. Pacha arranged a 'mobile taxi' for 30.000 rp per person to Bitung area from where you can get a grab or indrive ride to your next destination. The rooms are big, hot shower(!!!), great breakfast with omelet to set you off for your morning jungle trip. Great view from my balcony, room on the first floor, of the part.watching the birds flying. Good WiFi.

Wonderful resort on a private beach with beautiful corals. Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, with delicious food. Also close to national park and 1 hour drive to the airport.

Julian and his family were super hosts, they want to make sure you have a pleasant stay ! The room was good, well located close to the entrance of the park, spatious, clean and with AC. The garden was wel decorated. The 2 tours (sunset and morning tour) with Julian were nice! Breakfast was also really good. We recommend to stay here!
