I had a truly wonderful stay here! The place is beautiful, very peaceful, and perfectly designed for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, with a super comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with hot water. What really makes this place special are the owners – they are absolutely delightful, incredibly kind, and always ready to help with anything you need. They gave me great tips about things to do in Sidemen and made me feel so welcome. I had an amazing night here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality.

I loved everything about this property. The location is great and view is absolutely amazing!! We ordered room service the days we were here as we didn’t want to leave as we loved it so much and the food was great! Owner Mel and staff were very accomodating and went out of their way to make your stay incredible. Awesome communication set up with phone for anything required. Amazing attention to detail and have thought of everything. Would highly recommend to stay here and will definitely be coming back!!

The bungalow was new, clean and exactly as shown on the photos on the website. All staff were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant has amazing views over the rice terraces of sidemen. It is a short walk to the main street with various restaurants and warungs. Overall, the Devani resort definitely exceeded our expectations.

The view from the villa above the rice fields and from refreshing infinite pool was just what we needed after few hours of driving to this gorgeous place. Everything clean, staff so welcoming and helpfull. Great romantic dinner in restaurant. Higly recommended. We stayed just one night, but if you could extend it to at least two to enjoy all those walks around.

We liked a lot that everything is green and you are constantly surrounded by nature sounds which was very calming 💚 The room and the bathroom was very spacious and we also enjoyed the pool area with the great view 😊 Also, we recommend the spa as the foot massage that we had was very relaxing 💆🏻‍♀️Speaking about restaurant, it also offers lots of tasty things and the breakfast itself is really nice and big, lots of variety and choice for everyone's taste! The staff is really great, helpful, warm and very welcoming which makes this place unique in Sidemen ❤️ Since it was my boyfriend's birthday, all the staff (reception, restaurant and the housekeeping team) helped to surprise him with some sweet treats and room decorations which was trully amazing!! 😊✨🎂 So I wanted to expresss gratitude and big thank you to this place, it's really amazing and I cannot recommend it more while you are in Sidemen! The best restaurant in Indonesia is the Asri in this hotel. The food is outrageously good and quite inexpensive! The hotel is gorgeous with great views from every cottage. The service is amazing and the staff quickly learn your name and what you like/don't like. I was not bothered by insects at this hotel at all. Highly recommend for a splurge!

We only stayed a late afternoon and night while making our way to the North of Bali. There are a few tours that you can do, and I plan on coming back next year for 3 nights instead. It’s the perfect place to unplug and get away from buzz of city life whether it’s in the south or back home in a large city.

I have been to Bali many times and tell people "it's not all traffic, crowds and beach clubs; you will find that Bali you want to find" For me, that is Sidemen, which feels like Ubud 50 years ago. So lush and beautiful. I did a silver jewellery workshop, and the rice terraces trek. I wanted to go white-water rafting, but I am over 64 years old and they had no insurance coverage for someone my age. On a previous visit, I combined a few days on Gilli Air with a few days in Sidemen as it is close to Padang Bai. It is a great location for exploring central and east coast Bali. Traffic is not too bad. The climate is a littler cooler than the coast which makes a nice respite.

Sidemen is a beautiful village, quiet and reminds you of how you imagine Bali used to be like. Having said that, it has some top eating places. Rice fields all around, silver classes, cooking classes, place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location, stunning views, refreshingly not overdeveloped. For me it was a glimpse of the real Bali. Activities include walking through rice fields, swimming in waterfalls and making your own silver jewellery with the help of skilled local artisans

The beauty of the area was what I had hoped to find in Indonesia. It just took a bit to find it. A windy journey up into the hills made for an exhilarating welcome to the mountainous area of Bali. A lovely escape from the scooters & vehicles of Ubud & Legian, I can highly recommend the rice field walk & a visit to Gembleng Waterfall. The view from the top of the hill at Koli Koli restaurant is amazing. A must visit for those seeking an authentic Balinese experience

My stay was fantastic! The room was beautiful, very spacious, with a huge window offering the most amazing view! Every morning, I would wake up and swim in the pool while enjoying the lush greenery all around. The room was incredibly well-equipped with water, a fridge, a kettle for tea or coffee, shampoo, body lotion, and more. The staff was discreet, always smiling, and eager to help. There were plenty of breakfast options, and everything was delicious. I will definitely stay at the same hotel again the next time I visit Sidemen.

IT IS ALL ABOUT THE VIEW - All rooms face the majesty of Mt Agung - this is what Sidemen is all about. Our room was huge, comfortable, clean, & well appointed. The staff were kind, courteous, and friendly. The restaurant was being renovated but the room service meals and cocktails were great and reasonably priced. Our infinity pool was huge and we spent hours lounging around just watching Mt Agung reveal itself in its many glorious moods. I would challenge any Sidemen hotel to have a better view!

The whole property is beautiful, with 3 swimming pools, 2 restaurants and a cafe. All set in gorgeous gardens. We stayed in Kenyeri which had lovely views over the rice paddies. You can do a great 3 km walk through the valley of the rice fields and this was a highlight, the scenery with a backdrop of Mt Agung was stunning. The staff at the hotel are really wonderful and friendly. It was a truly lovely holiday there.
