Screebe House is right on the water in a very quiet remote area. It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!

Stunning location. We loved arriving at a beautiful, modern guest house situated among the ancient bog & stone-walled roads/bridges. It’s hard to capture the landscapes we witnessed without seeing it; undulating, craggy coastal boglands. Having such a clean, simple & contemporary space to rest among such ancient and beautiful scenery was a splendid juxtaposition.

I loved everything here with Joan and Brian! Truly, I can't express my joy and comfort while here. Joan is a treasure, and we became friends during my stay. We stayed here for one week as we explored County Galway. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go within one hour.
