EVERYTHING !! My husband adored the house and unfortunately we could not extend our stay. The house had everything you need, and the friendly host completes it all. Got ourselves apple desert when we arrived. You got to adore this house and the minimal but efficient construction. The sunrise in the kitchen gave me the peaceful feeling. It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!

I only stayed in Killorglin for one night.

I only stayed in Killorglin for one night. It was not long enough. For a small town, it surely packs a punch for activities, scenery and dining. The locals I met were friendly and didn't mind a chat. I am looking forward to going through again and staying a wee bit longer to explore the area.

Lovely town with all our needs.foot paths along the river. Very welcoming town. People friendly, helpful. The information center was especially helpful. Hearing about puck was a lot of fun, we had delicious meals, and unexpectedly good weather. We took an extra day to just rest and walk about town which was a perfect size for a day of pottering around. Highly recommend it

Killorglin is an ideal place to stay when climbing...

Killorglin is an ideal place to stay when climbing Carrauntoohil. About a 15 minute drive to the Hydro Road Car Park. Also very convenient for other Kerry mountains. I would recommend Soy Y Sombra, best tapas bar in the South West.

It is a nice picturesque town on the River Laune.

It is a nice picturesque town on the River Laune. It was an excellent location for 4 full days of hiking in the McGillycuddy's Reeks. For the evenings there were quite a few good restaurants and bars in which to dine and relax.

Accommodation was very modern, clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. We decided to walk into Killorglin for evenings and had amazing meals at 10 Bridge St (converted church only open Thurs to Sat) and The Bianconi Inn. During our time in Killorglin we managed to complete the Ring of Kerry, take a boat trip from Portmagee to Skellig Michael (fish platter at The Fisherman’s in Portmagee was great), visit Kenmare, do the Killarney National Park, and walk the Gap of Danloe. Our accommodation was well placed to do these trips 👍

We had a fantastic stay at Mary-Tim’s. It’s a beautiful house and private garden with great facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher and good water pressure in the shower. It was very clean which is much appreciated. A lovely touch to it was that at arrival there were milk, bread, marmalade, eggs and other basics in the fridge and kitchen. Would highly recommend to stay there on your holiday in Ireland.

Such a wonderful little Farmhouse on the Ring of Kerry route. Killorglin was a lovely little town. Met some lovely people in Falveys, had a fantastic meal in Bianconi's and a great Indian Takeaway from Sethu. The house was delightful and the scones were a very welcome snack. Absolutely fabulous.
