Location was fabulous, rural setting very close to main road. The hut itself was perfect, cosy feel but spacious inside and also well kitted out. I also arrived quite late and Craig was very accomodating. I'll certainly be back for my next visit to Longford!

It is so comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We loved the views and especially also that we could bring the dogs with. The room had different levels of lighting and you could even connect to the speakers inside the room via Bluetooth

Really pleased with all experience and communication. David is a great host. We regularly go to the centre parcs Longford and staying near by in different location prior to the check in. This time we stayed in beautiful Marina house. Really handy location to explore surrounding area and museums. Definitely recommend it and 5* to the David as a host

We were there to meet up with family so we didn't use many of the facilities that Longford has to offer. Limited range of good restaurants but lots of fast food places. Good central base to explore lots of Ireland.

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of...

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of exploring but I’m so glad I did. I was on my way to a wedding in Roscommon and we stayed in Longford which was within a half hour drive. It was lovely to be by the banks of the Shannon and I will certainly visit again. We ate in “The Purple Onion” and as we waited for our taxi to collect us the proprietor treated us to a nightcap on the house.

Gerry was a great host, couldn't have been any more welcoming. From the minute we arrived Gerry was there on hand to greet us at the door and provided us with a little info on where to eat and drink. Visited longford over the years due to family living there. The accommodation is spot on, in a really good location of the town, central to pretty much everything you need and good views of the cathedral. We will definitely book in at Tranquility again. Thanks again Gerry.

The location was excellant for visiting the Longford Lights festival. (10 miinute drive) The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet and serence country location.The key lock box was handy.The host Claire was attentive and available at all times.The house was warm and had a beautiful bespoke fireplace which we lit. It is roomy for a family of 5.We loved this place and it is very good value for money.

Comfortable homely ambience. Spacious en suite room with comfortable mattress. Quiet location so I got a good night’s sleep. Just the right distance for a pleasant walk into Longford town centre. Delicious and wholesome breakfast. The hosts were genuinely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way for their guests.
