We were there to meet up with family so we didn't use many...

We were there to meet up with family so we didn't use many of the facilities that Longford has to offer. Limited range of good restaurants but lots of fast food places. Good central base to explore lots of Ireland.

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of...

This is a part of the country which I wouldn’t think of exploring but I’m so glad I did. I was on my way to a wedding in Roscommon and we stayed in Longford which was within a half hour drive. It was lovely to be by the banks of the Shannon and I will certainly visit again. We ate in “The Purple Onion” and as we waited for our taxi to collect us the proprietor treated us to a nightcap on the house.

Perfect location in Longford town. Walking distance to train, access to greenway close by and close to cafes and restaurants. The pub is a lovely space and the food I had was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and good strength. Could make tea & coffee in the room. Very friendly and helpful team.

Excellent apartment 5 minutes walk to the centre apartment is clean has everything you could possibly need very comfortable highly recommend to book i would not hesitate to book next time I'm in longford owner was very good communication wise 👍

Easy to get to. Having gated parking was an added bonus. Location was great easy walking into Longford Would definitely recommend and we will return
