Great value-for-money! Not luxurious, but a nice, relatively large room. The breakfast was nice as well. For the price, we would definitely come here again. They also have a nice looking pool, but we unfortunately did not have time to try it out.

North West is located in Víðidalstunga, right off Iceland's Ring Road. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a seating area and a private bathroom with shower.

Location was perfect for a stop on our long road trip. We had a lovely view of the fell at the front of the hotel, cute cosy room with a living room that had shared facilities. Staff were lovely, and helpful. Great to have the restaurant downstairs. Would stay again!

The very funny and entertaining owner! We had a great time talking to him and listening to his singing and jokes. The accommodation was great, comfortable beds (the best night of our 10 day trip), good WiFi, good and warm shower, great view from the cottage.

Spacious comfortable room and best private bathroom facilities of our entire 1 week trip. Communal kitchen was clean and well stocked with utensils. Beautiful outlook over the lake. Best stay we've had! Quick note: approx 5km of gravel road driving to the property but was very manageable with our 2wd.
