Impeccable stay. Excellent value for money. Super friendly and attentive staff willing to show attractions in the area. The room is cozy and nicely equipped with everything I need. Great location. Only 4-5 km from Hraunfossar. Superb view from my room. For dinner, the lamp with mushroom sauce menu is a too-die-for. Good selection of breakfast. The staff also made great efforts in trying to contact me to let me know that I had forgot my jacket.

A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals. This was the perfect location for a night of quiet and relaxation. Situated in a beautiful valley, on a clear night it would also be perfect for viewing the northern lights. The cabin was cosy and with a generous living area, and the hot tub was superb!

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.
