Outstandingly friendly staff, lots of space, very clean and modern. The big Windows were a big plus,, we were able to see the northern lights from our bed! The soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel also were good quality. Close to gas station and grocery store. The restaurant was also good, the reindeer ragout was fantastic!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

Everything was exceed my expectation. Elsa is a super host. All the rooms was clean, comfy and lively decorated. The kitchen is very big and my group of 9 peoples can stay together in there. The dogs and cat are very friendly. Elsa baked bread for every guest and that was awesome.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town center is a 8-minute drive away.

The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Located in Egilsstaðir and with Hengifoss reachable within 21 miles, Tehúsið Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The hostel has family rooms.

The staff was very helpful and flexible when our arrival time changed. Easy to follow check-in instructions. The facilities were very clean! We had a comfortable stay.

What a beautiful area - slightly off the city centre but surrounded by woods and forest trails. There is a wonderful walking trail right around the property. Gorgeous garden to sit and relax in the evening. And Hallormsstaður forest is 20 mins close. Hengifoss, studlagil are all nearby. Friendly staff. (We could get the most of the property because we were lucky with great weather)

East Guesthouse is a recently renovated guest house in Egilsstaðir where guests can make the most of its terrace and shared lounge.
