Absolutely wonderful and quaint. The bistro that is associated with the rooms offered wonderful food and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were comfortable and there was a lounge area where we could sit and drink a coffee. Highly recommended.

This is one of our favourite places in the world:) we love Lario and all of the stuff, we had our wedding here 5 years ago and the place is just stunning as well as its amenities, food and people who takes care of the guests) thanks a lot to Lurde, Alice, Thomas and chef Luca for making our stay superb and making us feel that we are welcomed. We had a wonderful stay here and came home with truly great experiences! The hotel is very modern, comfortable, and pleasantly quiet, away from the noise of the city. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and the staff took care of the cleanliness every single day. From the balcony we had a beautiful view of the mountains and a direct view of the bell tower, which created a cozy and intimate atmosphere in the evenings while sitting outside. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming, making us feel almost like family. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from, and nothing was missing. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station, and nearby you can find a grocery store and a tobacconist. We can only recommend this place – thank you, Albergo Nicolin!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Promessi Sposi on Lake Como. The design is beautiful and modern, and the view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking — perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. Special thanks to the dark-haired young woman (unfortunately I don’t know her name) who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Her attentiveness made a real difference and truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

The hotel is at a very good location but the staff at reception seem not to be aware of this and how the place functions and getting around in terms of accessing the easy routes. Because every time we asked them how to go to a certain place, they will tell us that it is too far and it will take us 2 hours to get there. But when we drive ourselves we find out it's not really that far. It's like they are not familiar with the area or they lack information
