The staff were exceptional, they are wonderfully considerate and very attentive. Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

We are pleased to say, that was a wonderful experience in the Hotel! The place was beautiful and gardens were fantastic!! The staff was friendly and the waitress Laura is one of the best we ever had!! The quality of the food was excellent and we bought olive oil and wine back home. This is a friendly family-run hotel in a quiet street in Cannobio. The man who runs it couldnt speak much English but nonetheless he made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was good , our room was quiet at night and the location was excellent as it was only a few minutes walk to the main part of town and to the lake. They also serve lovely evening meals.
