Room was very clean with modern furniture. We have room with sea view, and it was amazing. Maybe someone doesn’t like the fact, that under the hotel is McDonald, BUT we did not smell anything. It was totaly OK.:)

Boat was clean. We have three kids 8 ,7, 3 and they loved it. Everyone slept very well. The owner was brilliant and very helpful with food and taxi's. We only stayed one night but it would make a fantastic base to see Rome for a few days. Highly recommend.

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in...

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

    It safe to walk at night, the ocean breeze is awesome, the pavement needs to be fixed, rolling a suitcase was not fun. getting there took sometime past nine pm on a friday night no more train.....when the busses was packed, Everything else in Lido di Ostia is awesome, everyone should visit.

    sandy nice beach and restaurants just next to the apartment, easy connection to Rome, clean and cosy apartment to have a nice holiday, enjoyed. Vey attentive host, kindly helped us to book a direct transfer from airport as it was almost midnight when we arrived.

    The place is very unusual, there are mostly local guests of various profiles, sometimes you can feel unsafe even though there is a lot of police and the streets are lit. The center is small but nice and organized, there is a lot of good and cheap food. The great thing is that it is well connected to Rome, the train goes every 15 minutes and in 20 minutes you are in Rome, which is many times more expensive in every sense than Lida di Ostia. Lovers of good beaches and the sea will not be impressed because the sea is shallow and you cannot swim in the depths because stone barriers have been installed, so all you have to do is splash around in the shallows, which are mostly cloudy because the beach is sandy. There is really a lot of garbage on the streets.

    We planned to visit beach and having relaxing days. We achieved our wiches. Great beach, water and weather, supermarkets and other shops with not big price. Location is not so far from Aeroport and Rome. Very good experience.

    Ostia is a beautiful city next to the Airport and just a short ride from Rome. I truly love it there, in the last year I visited 3 times and I cant wait to come back. You can visit Ostia antica or Rome or just chill on a beach and swim in the sea with sand beaches.

    The property was well located for the beach at Lido Di Ostia and a reasonable walk to the railway station for access to Ostia Antica. In summer there would be more restaurants close by but the main restaurant area was only a short walk. The property is exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable and has an excellent bathroom. It has been thoughtfully set up with toiletries and kitchen appliances including a pod coffee machine. Our hostess had also left some pasta and a tin of sauce to tide us over if necessary!

    A very clean apartment, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great attention to detail regarding every we needed was available. We travelled from Australia and stayed here a few nights to get used to Italy because it was the first time coming here for the kids. The A/Cs were great too, kept the place nice and cool.

    Nice and big apartment that has everything you need for a great vacation. The location is amazing, since it’s very close to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Lido Centro station is a few minutes away from the apartment, making it easy to go to Rome or Fiumicino airport.
