The stay was AMAZING. We had most contact with Vincent. He gave us a lot of advice and also speaks well French because i'm not good @ speaking Italian. The room with bathroom was really tidy, it comes with a bathtub (we liked it but i can understand that some people prefer a shower). We got suggestions to have dinner @ an amazing (but affordable!) restaurant. You can do a lot of hiking starting from the appartement. The old mill was really in an authentic state. We also took the option of the prepared dinner by the host. This dinner is in the middle of the old mill what gives a unique atmosphere. We had an an amazing first course(that already felt like a main course because there was so many) and then multiple main courses and dessert. It was 45 euro pp, not cheap but definitly worth it! There is a small terras next to the room with 3 chairs with a view of the mountains in the distance, its also really quiet because it is a dead end road, only a small path for hikers nearby to pass. Both the hosts were really helpfull and kind and open for a lot of converations. I definatly recommend to stay @ Frantoio Del Moscatello, this was our 3rd stop in Italy and this gave us the best holliday mood!

The B&B is in a magical location, we have never before felt so remote yet comfortable - it is very rare to sleep next to waterfalls, which made the stay feel very special and romantic. My partner and I were staying for our anniversary, and Gianluca (the host) was exceptionally friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The room has all the facilities one could desire, and the breakfast had excellent options - it was particularly nice to be able to choose what we wanted to eat/drink and dine outside. Whilst I had initially chosen the booking for its outstanding location, I would certainly go back equally for Gianluca's hospitality. We had a slight moment of panic when my partner left some of her belongings by mistake in a bedroom drawer, but Gianluca immediately informed us and arranged for the belongings to be delivered to us, which was an extra level of thoughtfulness and honesty that exceeded expectations. We will certainly be visiting Candalla again, as the whole experience was memorable.

Oh my goodness!! What a precious place to stay in, and we were only there one night. The owners have restored this space beautifully and carefully. The owners are personal and lovely. We LOVED everything!! It was a little hidden gem in the mountains, and it was perfect for us. From the most comfortable bed, and views out of the room, to little details such as some snacks and beverages left for us in the fridge. Everything was wonderful! The room was very cozy, the beds were comfortable, and everything was well thought out. The parking is quite convenient. There’s also a kitchen available, although we didn’t use it. There’s a restaurant just 10 minutes away where you can have dinner. The view from the window is absolutely stunning!
