Villa Cassina dell'Etna is a small, family run hotel, at the foot of Etna. All family members are very kind and the guests immediately feel welcome. The garden with the pool just calls you to enjoy the peace of Sicilian countryside. The breakfast and diner were delicious, from home made ingredients. We spent one night at this amazing b&b while we visited the sagra in Bronte and the Mount Etna. Vincenzo and Daniela are amazing hosts, they helped a lot to organize our trip. Even though it was a cloudy day, the view from the balcony was wonderful. The town also looks very cute, unfortunately we didn't have the time to discover but definitely we'll be returning to discover more of the east of Sicily.

This is the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in. The property has been lovingly restored in a traditional Sicilian way but with all the mod cons of the modern World. Nestled at the end of a little lane, we loved the peace and tranquility - we were there 24 hours and in that time only one car and one pedestrian went past. The outdoor furniture was comfortable, with little touches like citronella candles and muslin curtains billowing in the breeze. Based on the slopes of Mount Etna, the cooler air was a welcome relief. The kitchen was so quaint and the two decorative sinks were Instagram worthy! The added bonus was a washing machine in the bathroom. The bedroom we stayed in was really pretty, the bed was super comfortable with quality crisp white bedlinen. The perfect restorative escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Lovely design and attention for details, and warm welcome by the host. Precise indications about the check-in and lovely gesture of proposing us an aperitivo one the side of the pool with spritz and arancini to compensate the breakfast that we weren’t able to attend. Everything sparkling clean and great body products. We definitely come back to Pascià next time around the area, highly recommended!

Great apartment to stay near mt. Etna. The apartment is very spacious, perfectly clean and well decorated. It is the whole ground floor of a villa, with a kitchen and a living room, and feels very warm and welcoming. The host is very nice and helpful, and even welcomed me with free beer, bottle of wine and local honey! The neighbourhood is quiet with lovely views around. A free place for the car near the house. The center of the village is 3 minutes by car, with several restaurants. It is a 20-30 minutes drive to the Etna cable car station.

It is a very quiet town and has everything you would need, such as supermarkets, Restaurants, vegetable Shops and Salmuneria Shops. Also playground for kids in the town square.

We only stayed one night and we wished we could have stayed...

We only stayed one night and we wished we could have stayed a couple of days on this beautiful property. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very informative about the local attractions and food we should try. The dinner we had was 5-star, it was prepared with local and seasonal ingredients that the chef prepared just for us. The portions were out of this world and you have to wear stretch pants to finish it all, but it's so worth it. The room was quaint, clean, and comfortable.

Well Ragalna is a a very small town with approx. 4,000 residents so groceries, super markets and restaurants are quite limited. 1 improvement would be clearing the rubbish from the side of the roads but this is not only in Ragalna. It`s a pitty such a beautiful island still has these issues. The location is very good if you`re planning to go ETNA. It`s also a good location to travel to Catania, Giardini Naxos, Taormina , Enna, Acireale and various parks with destinations no longer than 1.5-2hrs to places mentioned above.

Umberto and Lidia are such good hosts, taking great care of their guests, with a particularly good breakfast in their spacious guesthouse, well situated in the atmospheric village of Ragalna on the southern slopes of Etna. We also appreciated the recommendation for dinner at a nearby trattoria. Car parking and good Wifi too. Great place to stay if you’d like a qualified guided excursion up the volcano, which can be organised by Umberto. Thank you both!

The surrounding garden is beautiful with ample places to relax! The rooms were spacious for a family of 5. I liked the room decor in traditional Sicilian and beautifully up-cycled furniture. It gives you the warm feel of the village of Ragalna. The host family were very friendly and helpful. Angelo is always ready to help! The parking area is comfortable.

Great place in the mountains near Etna. A but hard to reach, but a lovely little hotel/B&B. Staff was beyond awesome.Everyone! Cook also outstanding, made special gluten free food for my traveling companion, went out of their way to make her stay a special one! Would not hesitate to go back if I’m traveling in that area. Restaurant on site was outstanding
