Extremely clean place (with every day change of the bedding), in a perfect location (right next to the sea). A pleasantly renovated hotel, which has nevertheless preserved the spirit of the time in which it was built and the feeling of authenticity. The city center is nice, there are good restaurants but...

The city center is nice, there are good restaurants but every of them takes fee for sitting at the table - from 2 to 4 euros even to drink one cocktail. Beaches are not very good in Rapallo, you need to go somewhere further for good sea. We went on the beaches after San-Margarita, it is better drive there or go by bus.

A nice size town.

A nice size town. Easy access from the train station into town. Excellent coastal walk around to Portifino. Best place to swim Santa Margherita Ligure. A short walk from Rapallo. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Rapallo was fine but just to say a few more words about the hotel: the staff was very gracious, they even let us use some plates one day to have a lovely picnic outside and hooked us up with ice and glasses and things to enjoy our summer feast outdoors. They were so wonderful! They have created so much beauty on their property for guests to enjoy! It was truly lovely. I felt like I was in paradise! Rapallo was just OK for me. It seemed touristy and the food in town was my least favorite of my trip. Like they didn't care much about the quality of food they are serving the tourists. I get it, but it was just not very thrilling. But that's the effects of tourism. I was also surprised to learn that the beaches cant be accessed by everyone, as in the US. However, it is a beautiful town, the shops, bakeries, culinary stores are nice and I enjoyed them.

Rapallo is a beautiful town.

Rapallo is a beautiful town. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops. We travelled by train down to the Cinque Terre and all journeys were easy to navigate. The boat trip from Rapallo to Portofino was a lovey way to spend a few hours.

Rapallo was charming.

Rapallo was charming. Beautiful historical center with a nice choice of restaurants. We found it easy to get to Cinque Terra by train. We also traveled to Porta Fino by bus and returned by ferry - both were very scenic trips.

Rapallo is a lovely town, with great facilities.

Rapallo is a lovely town, with great facilities. We used it as a hub to travel by public transport to the places we wanted to visit. We went by ferry to Portofino (or bus, if the weather stops the ferries running) and by train to Genoa, Pisa and Cinque Terre.

We had wonderful service from the dining room manager and all the staff & OH THE BREAKFAST - INCREDIBLE— they fulfilled every requirement and more. The spa was amazing too, with equally lovely and welcoming staff. We had brilliant massages as well. We toured Europe by car, and this hotel stood out as one of the most memorable, almost dream-like experiences. I’d love to go back — it was simply fantastic and the view from the balcony was lovely.

The hotel was an excellent sea front property in Rapallo, a great base for exploring the Cinque Terre and Portofino. Very helpful and kind staff. We also noticed the owner there every day from early morning to late at night. He obviously has a passion for his establishment 👌🏻 breakfast was perfectly adequate. You won't go hungry! Rooms were well appointed and we had a super view out to sea.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the centre of Rapallo, within easy walking distance of everything. My room had rather charming, vintage furniture. It was clean and the staff were businesslike. My bed was on the firm side, but that suits me far better than something too soft.

Perfect little hotel with everything we needed. 5 minute walk from the centre of Rapallo and 10 minutes to the beach. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was a small selection but had everything we needed.
