The hotel's main advantages: Great location, all the most famous sights are within walking distance; the hotel is on a large but quiet street, good soundproofing; Wonderful staff, friendliness, helpfulness, speed and efficiency are what you find here. All your matters will be dealt with and all your requirements will be met very quickly and efficiently; The hotel is new, only opened this year, so you will find new and modern design, cleanliness, beautiful and design conscious public areas. Personal touch - in your room you will find special gifts and cards that create a personal relationship. An interesting breakfast concept that may not be to everyone's taste, but is certainly in keeping with the principles of sustainability: cold snacks are served buffet-style, while hot options can be ordered a la carte free of charge. Roof terrace with views.

My first trip back to Rome since I was last there in the...

My first trip back to Rome since I was last there in the 1970's so much more congestion and much higher prices, of course. Our original plan was to stay outside the city proper and commute in by train on a daily basis but nagging travel related coughs and colds caused us to just stay in the hotel and recover, and we couldn't have found a better place to do that than here. The Fiumicino Airport is not easy to navigate and rental car access is complicated, plus the traffic is a major issue during the rush hour periods. We were in bumper to bumper, barely moving traffic in a taxi getting from rental car return to the hotel around 5 PM, a trip that took over an hour to go less than 10 miles. Same trip took 10-15 minutes mid-day a few days later.

Enjoyed seeing many of the historical sites of Rome.

Enjoyed seeing many of the historical sites of Rome. Were I to go again, I would go in the off season as the sheer volume of tourists during peak and shoulder seasons is astounding. I’d rather pack a winter coat and visit when it’s cold and there are fewer tourists. Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican…all amazing. Trevi fountain had a huge line of people wanting to see it and we did not wish to stand in line to get to the front of the fountain, so we enjoyed seeing it from a distance and moved on. The Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel were well worth seeing, but we took advantage of prior recommendations online to get early morning tickets due to the crowds later. Even with having 8:00 am tickets (at opening) the lines were long. I was astounded to see what the lines were when we exited though as they were clear down the street and around the corner to the next street. I was glad we went early. We decided not to go into St Peters though as the wait there was 2-3 hours long. I was disappointed but we enjoyed seeing the outside.

Rome is great and has a lot to offer .

Rome is great and has a lot to offer . Take time to study the public transport rules and ticket machines. Use only authorised taxis, Beware of street hustlers and careful in Rome Termini Station - it is always rammed. There are lots of tourists so try and avoid the crowds. I recommend booking a taxi to th airport when you leave but come in either on the bus or better still the train. Get a good Guide Book in advance and I recommend the CityMapper App. Oh, and learn some basic Italian - most Italians speak English but not all so if in doubt smile, smile, smile.

Rome is wonderful. I like to go for about 6-10 days. This is ideal for seeing sights, having a few days to wonder around on my own time, and maybe take a day trip! I have many places to recommend! For transportation, walk! But if need be, busses work just fine as long as you leave time for delays, but trains are the best. Recommendations: - Food in Trastevere - Forum and Palatine Hill at Sunset - Trevi in the early morning - Corso Vittorio Emanuele for some fun thrift stores - La Romana for gelato - Shops around the Pantheon are great for unique gifts at fair prices - Passeggiata del Gianicolo above Trastevere gives a beautiful view of the city and fun was to get to Vatican - Scholars Pub for fun night life - Borghese Gardens if you are missing green space - Go into every church you pass - they are all beautiful - Day trip to Florence works great!

One more day might have been better.

One more day might have been better. The main attractions, the Coloseum, the Vatican, Trevi fountain were VERY crowded even though we booked early morning tours and this was early October. Plenty of good restaurants. Walking tours helped to get us in but the crowds rivaled Times Square in New York

Very nice place located near Rome Termini. It was the 4th property we stayed in while travelling through Italy and one of the best ones. Giorgio arranged for a late check-in for us as we arrived late and a self check-out, he was available online for any questions we had. It took us 15-20 mins to get to the historical Rome center. The place is really big and comfortable, there are 2 rooms - a living room with kitchenette and a spacious bedroom. The place is very stylish and well-equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful spacious room, so nice to come back to the room after spending the day exploring the city. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us ideas what to do, transport to take etc. The breakfast was excellent! With staff clearing your plate and cutlery and giving you new ones after each helping. Also the hotel is just minutes away from Rome Termini so it is easy to go take a bus or train to everywhere that you want to visit in Rome and Italy!
