We loved walking around the streets and taking everything in. It is a city full of character and history. The restaurants we liked the best were all around the pantheon although we also visited other parts of the city. Highly recommend a tour of the colosseum, although it is very pricey!

Rome is an incredibly beautiful city — and, in my opinion, the best way to experience it is on foot. The famous landmarks are beautiful, but often packed with tourists, so you might spend more time waiting for that perfect photo than actually enjoying the place. Instead, wander down the side streets — they’re full of charm, history, and hidden gems. You'll often find the best places that way. Treat yourself to local restaurants away from the busy areas, where the food is authentic and the atmosphere is very relaxed. You’ll fall in love with the real Rome — the one that lives beyond the tourist trails. There’s so much more to discover when you explore off the beaten path. I will be returning, for sure!

Rome is a marvelous touristic city, deserves visiting more than once. I had already been to Italy in 2023, so it was familiar to me. This time I had travelled to be present at the Canonization of our Armenian saint Maloyan. It was a once in lifetime event. I was very impressed.

Beautiful city, a bit crowded but it a tourist place.

Beautiful city, a bit crowded but it a tourist place. Taxis were easy to get. Food was good at all the restaurants we ate at. We enjoyed the tour of the Vatican, the hop on hop off. Trevi Fountain was very crowded and hard to get close to for pictures but still nice to see.

We weren't too excited about Rome but how can you not go when it might be your only trip to Italy? The history is amazing, art and architecture beautiful. Crowds and traffic are another story. We were there in off season and it was still crazy. You have to be assertive to get around and forget about turn signals! We did the highlights but will probably skip Rome on our next trip.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I had chosen a room in the annex as I wanted to sleep in a quiet place without too much people going in and out. The room was great and silent, even if it was over the busstation in Piazza Indipendenza, the windows are so thick that you can't hear the noise. And I loved the view of the piazza. The reception was nice and the breakfast is one of the best that I have had in Italy, so you shouldn't miss it. I had love to come back here :)

This guesthouse was one of the best places I stayed in during my trip to Italy. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The guesthouse is located a few minutes from the Vatican and it is also close to the subway so you can easily access other sites within Rome from here. There are also some very nice restaurants nearby. The guesthouse was very clean and tastefully decorated. They had. kettle, tea and a coffee machine in the room. I would high recommend it.

Lovely room and toilet, working A/C which seems like a rare find in Italy as i have stayed 3 hotels during my trip and only this one has a working A/C. The lady/owner was very nice and her son was very helpful when we were stuck outside at the door during the late night. The beds as well gave me one of the best sleeps throughout my stay in Italy. It has a perfect location where it's near the Metro station and also a walkable distance to the Colosseum.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Surprising fluffy and tasty croissants (for Italy) during breakfast. The location was very good, just across the US embassy and many 5* hotels - fairly easy to reach, away from the tourist noise but still reasonable distance to all key areas in Rome. Much appreciated that they could book us a hire car to take us to the airport.

The fact that it had a lift this was a bonus for Italy and Rome itself. Unfortunately, that is probably the only thing I did like about the hotel. I think it’s fair that I am honest for myself and other travellers. As I read reviews for all bookings I make.
