The best experience we could have anticipated. Beautiful facility, wonderful hosts ( Serena and "mama Victoria"). Gardens surround the "hotel." The hotel is immaculate, and the hostess, Serena, became like family on the first day. Using Google Translate, we "communicated" and became friends. She accompanied us to a local restaurant, took us to dinner on the coast the following night, and bid us "bon voyage" on our last day. Excellent stay in all aspects.

Mrs. Maria, the owner, was very kind, helpful, and always ready to give tips about where to go and what to do. Same with her daughter. Even though the location is not very close to the tourist area, Pompeii is still about 10 minutes by car, thus the area is very quiet and safe. Every morning she prepared a delicious Italian breakfast with cornetto (croissant), coffee, tea, milk, and juice, as well as a homemade crostata or a different homemade pie each morning. You HAVE TO visit the Nanninella pizza place in Poggiomaggiore! We had The Best Pizza EVER!!! Raffaele and his staff and family were very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel part of their family!

Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin.

Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin. The main street near Parco Wenner is just lovely - amazing cafetteria (Cafetteria Ricciardi) and bakery/deli - but the area around the train station is a little sketchy. But all that said, we walked back from Pompei at 10pm at night and didn't feel in any danger at all, lots of young people out and about.

Hotel was lovely and hotel restaurant very good. The area isn't particularly beautiful although you can easily walk out into the agricultural areas which are picturesque. Easy to travel around by train once you get the hang of it. Not many taxis in Scafati.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent - it’s clear that the staff truly care about the place and do their best to make every guest feel welcome. The rooms and facilities are very clean and modern. The breakfast selection is a bit limited, but I understand that this is part of the Italian tradition. The location is fantastic - very close to Mount Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii. The swimming pool is also exceptionally clean. Highly recommended!

Beautifully clean hotel, with fantastic staff. The bedroom had everything we needed. Great breakfast. The pool area is lovely. Dinner was great. The kitchen accommodated my request for a salad starter, as the only three Primi options were all pasta!
