The staff at Ocean Cliff Hotel were so sweet, kind, professional and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of our meals, massages at the spa and time at the pool. The hotel is in excellent shape with mature landscaping.

We absolutely loved the place. It’s right in the middle of nature. The location is in the West End which is the best location for people who want to stay at a more quite and peaceful place. It’s also the best location for sunsets with Rick’s Cafe and Whoopies nearby. The hosts were very kind and friendly!

Negril is beautiful and the beauty is still well preserved. The Beach is clean and well maintained. The police presence is good. Alot of adventures to participate in and otherwise very relaxing location. The strip is excellent for riding and they should invest in a bicycle lane for the full length of the strip would be a great attraction to the area.

It is the place we always go to end our trip to Jamaica. We have family friends that we visit and this year, the family came to us. It is a wonderful place for family reunions or for family to vacation together.

The hotel offered a wonderful and unique experience, with the charm of being privately owned. The owner was exceptional, checking in with us almost daily to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied throughout our stay. The staff were kind and respectful, and while generally quiet, they were warm and engaging when we struck up a conversation. The property provides the added comfort of a security guard and is located directly across from the beach, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Jamaica. What truly sets this place apart is its authenticity—you’re not surrounded by crowded tourist attractions, but instead immersed in the genuine local culture, sounds, and flavors of the island.

Negril is the perfect vacation spot.

Negril is the perfect vacation spot. The locals are kind and generally pleasant. The food was also pretty good. If you're in Negril, don't miss karaoke at Woodstock and be sure to swim in the caves at Joseph's Cave.

Always enjoy my stay there ...right on the beach ...very peacefully... great staff...friendly grounds people...been staying at Roots since 1991...and will continue to stay there ...love that it's so close to the beach and all things that you need to enjoy the vacation...

Location is spot on. Right on the beach and close to all the places you would want to be in Negril. Deceptively hidden away but once on to the property a pleasant small community of condos. We stayed in the Lower Beach Condo. Not beach frontage but with a nice patio area and a 10 seconds walk to the beach bar and the beach. Facilities in the Condo was more than acceptable and the air worked well! One other point is that it is relatively away from the majority of the "Big Noise' that comes from the party atmosphere that occurs Negril.

Absolutely loved Legends It is an older hotel but this just added to its beauty and charm. I have been to a hotel in Jamaica before and I could have been anywhere in the world at Legends I felt like I was in real Jamaica. Big shout out to Ceasar who was just the best. 7 mile beach is just sooooo beautiful and i loved running along it in the mornings. The food was good too (didn't book all inclusive).

The hostel is well situated in Negril, close to many restaurants and to the sea and not too far from Seven Mile Beach or the cliffs. We rented bicycles from a shop closeby which allowed us to go around Negril easily. Sue and her team were really nice and quick to answer to our questions. The guesthouse is pretty, with many different places to chill in the garden.

Everything - Travellers beach was the best choice to stay in Negril. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The best thing about the resort is the staff all so friendly and professional you fell well looked after!! Would recommend a stay here to anyone and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Negril

You are right on the beach, the only hostel of this kind in all of Jamaica I believe. Great value for the money, all amenities you might need are nearby. Bar on site and cheap food right next door.
