Very spacious and modern room with an incredible view. Free parking included. Good WiFi signal. The hotel offers a lot of amenities including guest lounge, swimming pool, onsen, outdoor onsen, and more. Our stay included breakfast and dinner. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in Japan. The rooms are beautiful, spacious yet cozy. The private onsen in the bathroom was absolutely divine, not to mention the property also has indoor and outdoor onsens attached (both great). The futons were like sleeping on clouds and we had one of the best night's sleep of our lives. The dinner at the restaurant was a delicious and wonderful experience. The guest lounge on the ground floor was also a great place to relax and refresh. I wish I had stayed more than one night.

Everything. The staff were incredible. The baths were fantastic, I especially liked the outdoor one. The food was amazing and there were lots of snacks available at set times and teas and coffees available 24/7 on both floors. I also booked a private bath and the hot marble (?) floor 'bed' for no extra cost. Excellent location for getting to the free foot baths/shrines/parks/bridge. When you check in you can choose a small colour canvas to customise your room and you get to pick from four different types of sampoos etc. I find Japan does really cover the small details like these well in hotels, but this place went the extra mile. It is incredible value for money and I recommend half board as well as the meals were delicious. Dining at dinner felt like a special event (in comfy Yukata). The app said communal bathroom, but it means communal shower rooms (in the baths). You get your own fancy Japanese toilet. They also run a free shuttle bus from Sapporo and back. I really liked that it was a females only.. Sorry if there are any spelling errors, I got nail extensions in Tokyo and I'm not used to them yet.

A great breakfast and dinner buffet setup, a large room, great onsen, right where you want to be in Jozankei, there is very little to complain about! The staff are very professional and are very organized. During the buffet they guide you so you know how the flow should be and the usual chaos you see is pretty much nonexistent. The onsen facility contains both indoor and outdoor pools and both were fantastic. Right behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain view that i gorgeous in the snowtime.

The onsen's great and especially rotenburo (the outside bath)! It was snowing and the view was breath-taking. Great place to relax and slow down a bit~ Also it was a bit challenging to find baths that I wanted to go to. The place is like a maze 😅 But it was nice to have a map, which is provided after check-in

The room is significant in traditional Japanese style, you can enjoy everything you expect from an onsen hotel in Japan. The big onsen is really relaxing especially on a snowy day.

This was a beautiful ryokan and our room was lovely. The onsen baths were great including the older baths in the annexe part of the building.
