Best hotel in our entire trip. The resort is beautiful and comfortable. With unlimited booze during evening social and night cap. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The location is right opposite the start of the Goshikinuma trail and the visitor center. So it’s very convenient for exploring the national park. We also drove to Jododaira about an hour to hike Mt Azuma Kofuji.

The accommodation experience was great. It was a quiet and comfortable location. The room was very clean. The owner of the accommodation was very nice and could communicate with guests through translation software. In addition, the owner’s cooking skills were very good. The hotel is a very cosy, clean and charming place with lots of characters. The host, Mr Gorilla-San, and his wife made us feel very welcome. He is a great chef himself, and we enjoyed the tasty 5-course dinner very much. The breakfast served in the morning was equally good in presentation and taste. The hotel is well placed for hikers and skiers to explore the nearby mountains and ski resorts. Would love to stay there again in the near future.
