Excellent breakfast and dinners, far beyond our expectations. Shabu shabu, sashimi, sushi galore etc amongst a wide variety of food to suit most taste for buffet dinner, plus complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, wine, beer, sake, japanese whisky and brandy at dinner plus in the lounge after dinner. Quiet and serene surroundings despite near to a road, opposite Lawson and near to gas station. V convenient for driving to the tourist sites in Mt Aso. Room is a bit worn out but clean and big for Japanese standards. No wonder it was crowded. Great value for money.

The property is in a picturesque location, not too far from town and close to a great onsen. The couple who run the property as adorable and so welcoming. The place itself is quiet, clean and spacious! I would highly recommend this to traveler’s into Mt Aso!

The best Guesthouse I have ever stayed in! The host is a super nice and attentive person, he made us feel like we were at home. The hostel is beautiful, it is made of details and with a lot of love love. They have two beautiful kittens!

Love stay. Host was wonderful and organised a meal reservation and drove us there without any additional cost. Home was lovely and clean. Other guests and us had great time socialising in common area. Amazing to be so close and have a view of mount aso.

Full day hiking on Aso accessing the south route. View and landscape are stunning. Everything could be perfect if not the extremely noisy helicopter flight over every 10 mins, which kind of ruins the whole experience...

The owners were exceptionally lovely, I arrived when it was...

The owners were exceptionally lovely, I arrived when it was a bit dark, but she quickly responded to my message about my arrival and helped me get to the property. Also their generosity and kindness were amazing despite me being a little lost in my Japanese understanding. Stay was comfortable with a great view of the mountains greeting you as you woke up. I would definitely recommend staying here, probably arriving a little before the sun sets as the small streets can be a little confusing if you take the wrong route.
