Great place in Lake Yala, far from city center. It feels like you are staying in the middle of the savanna. There are few huts in the complex so it's really quiet, low light pollution so stargazing at night is an option. There is a gate you can use to access Yala lake to see buffalos and walks at sunset, really cool. There were some friendly guardian dogs around and the staff was very nice, always available 24x7.

Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. He is the best! He made us feel so special and welcome. Thank you for everything Upul. You made our stay even better! We didn’t want to leave this place! Everything is clean, beautiful and peaceful. The beautiful terrace with a view on rice fields. Very nice and helpful owners. They pepper dinner for us, breakfast box which we took on safari and gave us info about the best way/bus connection to next destination. Check out at 13:00 so after the safari we had time to take a shower. They also offered a safari tour to Yala NP but we had already agreed elsewhere.

The people is vey nice! They arranged us all the transports from and to Tissamahara. In addition, we had a safari that was picking us at 4:30 and they woke up to prepare us a small breakfast. We had dinner there and food was really tasty!

Very nice and comfortable stay. It is like a resort because the stay has a big yard with pool, sun beds + restaurant/bar. At restaurant they have a lot of options to eat and also for the drinks. We had the best food in Sri Lanka here. And the owner also offers you options for Safari tours.

Hotel is really nice. Very comfy room! Our kids enjoyed pool! We stayed for one night before our safari trip to Yala park. It takes about 30 min drive to park entrance.
