Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

I stayed there for my first 2 nights and it was the best choice. Hotel just after the renovation, big and clean rooms. The hospitality of the owners is amazing. 5 min walk distance to the beach (no people only palm trees - like in paradise). You have to try food because it's a very good one. Good vibe of the place.

An oasis of beauty and tranquility. Just eight rooms, more like a home than a hotel. Such peaceful views across the lawn onto the beach through ancient trees. It’s on a very rare patch of Sri Lankan beach with no other hotels or restaurants, just the local fishermen. It’s a magical stretch of beach with hardly any tourists on it. The powerful waves means its not ideal for swimming. But if you walk around the corner 15 min away there is a calmer huge beach, but much more crowded and built up . I did have a quick dip every day, but better to swim around the corner . On the way is a rock jacuzzi pool perfect for young kids, and very popular with the locals at the week end. I discovered it’s co owned/managed by a norwegian so the material standards are really high, beautiful local furniture, gorgeous interior decoration, sophisticated simplicity or is it Asian elegant ‘hygge’ ? The food is delicious, beautifully presented with a choice of local and international dishes, fairly priced as well. As a solo traveller it’s a real haven. The staff are particularly kind and attentive. The manager even called me at 22.00 when I wasn’t back to check all was ok.

Beautiful small place with family atmosphere. It is right on very long beach where you can spend time walking or relaxing. Also 2 min ealk is supermarket and 10 min walk is a city (and wine shops :-)). Employees including cook are friendly and nothing is a problem.

The room was nice,Clean and included a balcony with a stunning sea view, which made my mornings extra special. I stayed at Palazzo Beach Hotel for my last days in Sri Lanka and really enjoyed the experience. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach (you need to cross the road, and swimming is possible a few minutes’ walk on either side), the location is peaceful and away from the busy tourist areas. My favorite part was the rooftop restaurant, especially at sunset – such a calm and beautiful atmosphere to end the day. The staff were welcoming, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. * Special Note: If you are a surfer, please note that there are no waves directly in front of the hotel. For surfing spots, you’ll need to go about 4–5 km away. I had a great time here and will definitely visit again!

Beautiful property for those who want to relax and chill away from the busy city .they do provide free drop to hikkaduwa. The beach near is almost a private beach and very good. The whole house is very beautiful, good pool and surroundings . In house restaurant serves good food and they cater to all our requirements. The staff here is also very cooperative and helpful .
