We are extremely happy to have spent two days at the Capoe house. It was better and more beautiful than we had expected. We were picked up by the Ranger and got a little private Safari tour as he’s an expert of the local animals. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful, and we receive the warm welcome with a High Tea. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful few as well as a big and clean bathroom. As it was Valentine’s Day, they had decorated the bed with flowers and given us a complementary heart shaped cake. There was definitely good and enough food and drinks and outdoors activity, you can for example get a private trip to the near waterfall without extra costs. There was also a yoga mat available and room service at all times.

The best hotel in Sri Lanka. Kind and nice staff Very high-level chef Amazing food. Excellent pool. Great rooms. Wonderful nature Including a stream flowing inside the hotel Natural pools Perfectly engineered seating areas. Peacocks flying above you. The location was peaceful and serene, providing the perfect escape. The staff were exceptionally attentive, with impeccable attention to detail. The meals served during our stay were absolutely delicious and carried a nostalgic, home-cooked charm. A special highlight was the morning visit to Pahanthudawa Waterfall, thoughtfully arranged by the team, which made our experience even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet getaway from Colombo.

Amazing garden, very cool area, and nice rooms. And most of all, very cool staff. Extremely helpful and nice! Also we had visit from monkeys and cute dogs. We slept comfortably. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night - we would've loved to stay longer. Do not miss out on the pahathudawa waterfall just close by.

Mahinda and Muthu were really lovely. They were friendly, welcoming and funny, we felt immediately at home and wished we had stayed longer. They prepared us a Sri Lankan dinner of fish curry, eggplant curry and potato curry which was delicious, and then prepared us a breakfast which could have kept us going for a few days, again delicious, traditional and perfect. The room we stayed in was huge, clean, light and airy and well dressed. The bed was very comfy. Even their dog was super sweet and the many cats that choose to live amongst their gardens were friendly and brilliant. All in all we didnt want to leave, really loved this place and really its because Mahinda and Muthu are genuinely beautiful people. I couldn't recommend them enough.

One of our holiday highlights. We stayed in the upper apartment “Silver Tips” which was very modern and clean. And the view was amazing, even from the shower! Super friendly staff and amazing food: For dinner we got tasty rice and curry and for breakfast delicious egg-hoppers while overviewing the tea fields and mountaintops around. This accommodation is very close on the Pekoe Trail that we walked, we stayed only one night but we would have loved to stay longer… The area offers a lot of great hikes and magical tranquility far from touristy zones. They serve their own tea from the plantation which has organic quality, all grown naturally.
