This place is a perfect hub for Nanuoya and surrounding area. There is a waterfall close by and you live in the tea fields. You are close to the train and there are multiple viewpoints to look if that interests you. The family is extremely nice and we enjoyed every interaction and tea cup. The welcome into the hotel was fabulous, we received a flower garland, some tea, a massage and a tour of the hotel, including meeting the chef personally. Our room was beautifully decorated and being from England, it felt like a home from home for us. The plunge pool/ sauna was fantastic and we were grateful we could book this area to have it to ourselves. We had the 6 course tasting menu for dinner both nights which was about £40 per person - unbelievable value for the food that was served. Michelin star level food at dinner and breakfast, everything tasted divine.

The people hosting the guest house were definitely my highlight. Roshan, his wife and daughter were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face! Roshan even dropped me at the railway station on the last day, which was super nice! The breakfast was very delicious and enough. The beds were super comfortable and the room very spacious. There is a shortcut to get into the city that‘s why the location of the guest house is also fine. Would definitely come back next time!

The space was simple, brand new, cozy, and beautifully designed, it felt very cozy from the moment we arrived. The food from the in-house restaurant was incredible, full of flavour and made with so much care. What truly stood out was how warmly we were welcomed. Our immediate family had planned this trip after such a long time apart, and Croft Cottage gave us the perfect setting to reconnect. It wasn’t just a holiday, it was a heartfelt experience shared with loved ones. There’s truly no better way to spend quality time together. Highly recommended!

Staying at Bluechip Summer Bungalow was absolutely magical. The location, right in the middle of a tea plantation, and the beautiful British-style house surrounded by gardens make you feel part of Nuwara Eliya’s history. Our room was huge, with the most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely attentive and professional and the food was simply outstanding.They even arranged a walk for us to Lovers Leap waterfall, which is easily accessible from the hotel and was a perfect experience. A truly authentic stay in “Little England”. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a genuine atmosphere.
