I can only recommend this hostel if you are looking for a cozy, clean place with good vibes. The hostel has direct access to the beach (practically private) and is convenient to bus stops. On the side you will still find supermarkets and places for primary things. Super clean and well maintained hostel, very relaxing atmosphere! The guy who work there and the owners are wonderful, they make you feel at home. I extended my stay already after the first day I stayed. I hope to return before my departure! :)

Host family is the best! We felt really taken care of, welcomed and safe. They even brought us delicious food and fruits on numerous occasions and provided us with free bicycles. They were there whenever we needed anything but also didn't bother us at all. The villa itself is lovely and cozy, it had everything we needed. The air conditioner works great. I really recommend this place to anyone who wants to experince authnetic but still comfortable Sri Lanka lifestyle.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! The staff here is truly the best we have ever encountered – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. Taavetti is a small boutique style hotel but is actually newly refurbished in execllent quality. The place is very clean amd tidy and the room was excellent. Its quiet and the staff are excellent neat and well mannered. We were received in an excellent way especially after a 2 hour drive from colombo. We were offered fresh juice and a cool towel while checking in. Checking was straight forward and easy. The hotel has its own access to a beach and restairant. We mainly had breakfast there. Its a set menu breakfast that gives u a choice of english french and asian breakfasts. The location of the hotel is not where all the 5* hotels are but beaches are beautiful in most places and Taavetti has a nice stretch of beach with seating and umbrellas

A very good breakfast with mixed Sri Lankan food and western toast . Very nice with fruit plate and exotic fresh juice , It was a good location in a calm street and took only a few minutes to walk to the beach and main street .

Great location in a small, peaceful and very smiling community. Gorgeous setting by the lagoon. Close to the main road with plenty of great food options. Walking distance from a lovely buddhist temple. Delicious breakfast with lots of fresh mango in season!! Room super clean and tidy.
