Small medieval town with a rich history.

Small medieval town with a rich history. Built near to the Roman antic settlement known as Municipium S. known by Diatreta, a cage crystal glass cup from the 4th century, presented in the Heritage Museum. During Ottoman Empire, known by the name Taslidza, Pljevlja was an important trade crossroad. Pljevlja has still preserved old houses from that era. Also known by the famous medieval Orthodox Cristian Monastery of the Holly Trinity, s well as by the famous Husein Pasha mosque, the treasure of Ottoman architecture. It has one of the most beautiful forest garden around the river Breznica, the amazing place for walking, relax and enjoyment during summer days. The nature around Pljevlja is amazing, too. The place worth to visit during the summertime!

Not worth visiting.

Not worth visiting. We stayed one night on our trip to Croatia. We wanted to stay in Serbia (maybe Zlatibor), but they asked for Covid PCR test - Montenegro is OK with proof of vaccine. So we stopped in the first town after the border. There other mountain sights in Montenegro worth visiting!
