Stayed for 4 nights, this city and its surrounding area has a lot to offer. There are few foreign tourists visiting the city, if you are planning on taking the ferry the ferry to Mingun be prepared to charter the entire boat. We paid 100 000 kyats for the ride there and back. Great city lots of history and temples to visit. Highly recommend the U Bein if you have clear sunset.
